330 ml shared bottle, kindly provided by our beerpal Jan Magnus. ABV 5%. Very dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Mildly roasty aroma, notes of chocolate and mild coffee. Fairly dry flavour, medium roasty, notes of mild coffee, hints of dark bitter chocolate. Tolerable hops in the finish. Scopey (14766) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2011
Keg at Craft Brewery, Athens. It pours darkest brown, with a thick light tan head. The nose is caramel, toffee, latte and light roasted malt. The taste is chocolate, caramel, lactose, filter coffee, light roasted malt and a touch of liquorice. Medium body, fine carbonation, foamy mouth-feel and good balance. Tasty and very easy drinking. 33c bottle from Supermarket in Platanias, Crete. BBE 10/2011. Poured dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, some chocolate and coffee as well. Flavor has roasted malt and coffee. Dry finish, lots of coffee that stays for long. Thin body, but overall a nice schwarzbier. Davros (3187) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - AUG 20, 2011
Pours dark brown with a very small head.
Nose shows lots of nice dark chocolate and caramel, but very clean underneath.
Flavours suggest coffee, cocoa and roasted malt with some faint sweet caramel underneath.
Carbonation could be lower.

Bottle 330ml. Tasty, but not robust. Aromas of burnt caramel, cola, with hints of chocolate. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is oily, with a thin-to-medium body. Dark brown, the head doesn’t last. meerbier (1474) - Pijnacker, NETHERLANDS - JUL 23, 2011

Black chocolate aroma with some coffee, roasted malts. Black, light brown head, good lace. Starts pretty neutral, then light sweet, hint of cola, some coffee, roasted. Light and watery. Could certainly use some body. A bit one dimensional in the flavour that not very powerful either.
Draft @ brewpub. The color of brown bears and opaque, and at the bottom of the glass is cola-colored. Stable small head. Rich malt sugars. Soft palate. Balanced, clean, and good. Prokroustis (745) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - APR 30, 2011
Dark brown colour with an off white head. Light malty aroma with chocolate, smoke and some coffee. Watery palate, flavour has caramel, cereal and coffee. RC8 (305) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 25, 2011
A good beer overall. Pleasantly surprised to see that there is Greek beer that could keep me busy while visiting! This one feels like a bock, but with very large amounts of carbonation. I guess carbonation and hot weather usually go hand in hand.
