Pours dark brown with a very small head.
Nose shows lots of nice dark chocolate and caramel, but very clean underneath.
Flavours suggest coffee, cocoa and roasted malt with some faint sweet caramel underneath.
Carbonation could be lower. asheft (3083) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 2, 2010

Weak aroma of toasted almonds and smoke. Clear red-brown under tan bubbles. Tons of caramel in the flavour along with lots of toastiness and only detectable hops. Light to medium body clean finish, if a bit smoky. MarkoNm (2750) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - MAR 31, 2015
Review for the past. From a store on Corfu. Poured a dark brown color, topped with beige head. Roasted malts, some chocolate and coffee in the aroma. Taste was mildly sweet at the start, roasty body with coffee in the finish. jimhilt (2610) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 19, 2009
Pours a four finger tan head that fades slowly leaving traces of lace. Black color, no highlights. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Oak nose. Flavor is a smokey oak and subdued caramel. Best by Dec 2009. €1.45 ($2.06) for a 330ml bottle from a supermarket in Athens, Greece. Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - SEP 4, 2005

Black with a foaming dark brown head. This looks and smells all the world like a stout, only the texture and palate are more consistent with that of a larger. Rich coffee, tobacco and bridle leather aroma. Really nice beer to finish on.

Draught, tasted at the brewpub, dark with little head. A sweet toffee and coffee aroma. Quite strong carbonation, but also a strong roasted coffee flavour. A bit weak on the palate though. davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - AUG 12, 2011
Bottle 330ml. Tasty, but not robust. Aromas of burnt caramel, cola, with hints of chocolate. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is oily, with a thin-to-medium body. Dark brown, the head doesn’t last. fugitive (2005) - Athens, GREECE - OCT 11, 2009
Dark brown color. Pleasant, sweet aroma with some roasted tones. Finish is quite good. GAManiac (1944) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 4, 2008
Pours a dark, dark brown out of the bottle with a small, rocky tan head that hung around for a little while with no lacing. The smell is dominated by roasted malts with hints of both coffee and smoke. The taste is much sweeter than the aroma would indicate and has a sizable caramel malt backbone with a noticeable smoky roasted character. Mouthfeel is creamy but with strong carbonation. I really enjoyed this beer though I would put it a notch below the smoked lager from Craft. JK54B (1602) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 21, 2013
Mild coffee nose. Pale beige fast disappearing head. Dark reddish brown color. Mild coffeyish malty and syrup taste with some hints of licorice. At the end bitterness. Slightly salty.
