Sampled at the meadery this mead poured a yellow gold color. The aroma was sweetish apple peel and cider. The flavor was sweet cinnamon apple, apple peel, sugar, yeast and a hint dusty. Long finish. Full bodied. Well done Linder24 (5) - Akron, Ohio, USA - APR 25, 2015 does not count
Love the flavor and also used it to marinate chicken sausages! It was great! demmbonz (732) - Erin, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Shared bottle. Lots of apple pie flavor and some dryness from the honey. Delicious with thanksgiving dessert. JStax (6505) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUL 6, 2014
Bottle pour into a snifter. Pours a clear yellow. Aroma is faintly apples and spice with a pleasant, dry honey presence. Taste is sweet and alcoholic. I was hoping it would be more similar to the brothers drake apple pie, but they went lighter on the apples and spices I think with this version. JaBier (7973) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - APR 7, 2014
Sample at the Meadery on 4/5/14. Clear blanc pour with no head and thick, sticky legs. Aroma of apple, cinnamon and slight vanilla. Apple and cinnamon flavor with a bit of vanilla sweetness in the finish.

Sample at the tasting room. Clear pale yellow-gold color with decent legs on the glass. Aroma of cinnamon and apple. Full-bodied with flavors of honey, apples and cinnamon. The finish is sweet with an apple pie aftertaste. Different than the Brothers Drake version, decent overall. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Bottle from Fermentation. Clear golden pour. Sweet honey aroma with distinguishable apple character with hint of spice. Flavor is mostly dominated by honey with spice and apple pushed aside. Dry finish and doesn’t taste like 12%. Not bad. cheap (5862) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2013

Pours nearly clear. Aromas of apple and sweet honey. Flavor is nice sweet honey with notes of apple. Light pie spice in the finish. On the thinner side with day finish. Pretty tasty. drowland (8759) - Georgia, USA - FEB 13, 2013
2/13/13. Sample from a distro. Clear golden pour with touches of brown in there. Lightly spiced nose (thankfully - I hate overspiced beverages) with plenty of apple cider and a hit of honey. The flavor shows apple cider straight away with a bit of cream, sweet honey, and a light touch of holiday spices. Well balanced and tasty.
