Tasted at Stone XI Party. Clear golden amber with a fizzy white head. Sweet malty bready aroma with a sweet bread taste and a smooth finish. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 18, 2010
A: The pour is a clear golden amber color with a finger worth of white head that has pretty good retention.
S: There’s a pretty nice bready malt character to the nose along with the distinctive aroma of lager yeast. Not a ton of hop aroma, but a nice bit of floral and grassy hop character.
T: A solid bread and malt flavor to start this one off. There’s a touch of toasted character to it as well as some very subtle hints of corn. The hops are a bit more pronounced on the palate and give the beer a pleasing bitterness and balance.
M: The body is medium, pretty solid for this sort of lager, with a moderate level of carbonation.
D: This was one of the better Craftsman beers I’ve had. Quite a solid beer and very easy to drink. jbardin (161) - New York, USA - JUL 23, 2012
On tap at the spice table. It's a lager, ok? But it's a good one, and it goes completely perfectly with the food at this spice-centric restaurant. Nice beer.

On tap at Public School 612 in downtown LA Dec. 11th. Pours golden with moderate head. Good lacing throughout. Quality senses from nose to finish. Very easy to drink, and flavorful. Nice beer! Iphonephan (7025) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - MAR 20, 2014
From a flight at Tratoria Neapolis in Pasadena CA. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Light malty nose. Flavors of biscuit, butterscotch and bubblegum. One of the most complex pale lagers I have had.

Draft. Used to like this one before I got very into beer and haven’t had it in ages, turns out it’s still very good! Pours light gold. Sweet malt aroma with some bubblegum and cereal. Taste is on the sweet side too but nicely complex with some drying hop bitterness. Solid. MattH (878) - California, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Tap at The Tripel in Playa Del Rey. Pours light yellow. Nice fluffy white carbonation. Wow, a really full mouthfeel for a lager. Goes down like velvet. Good crisp taste. A really good lager. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JAN 27, 2013
On tap at Father’s Office, Santa Monica. Compared favorably with the Stillwater pre-Pro lager. Vibrant golden-orange pour with a lively, fluffy head and plenty of brimming carbonation. Nose was very inviting with plenty of bitter hops, a touch of must and tart fruit. Bracing flavors, quite sharp and grassy, just a bit of funk peeking out from the herbal deliciousness. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JAN 25, 2014
On tap at Trappist Provisions. Believe it or not, I’ve been tracking this one down for a while now. I can see why it’s rated so highly as a pale lager. It kind of changes your mind on what this style can actually be. It pours a clear golden color with a nice white head. The aroma is rather spicy and floral with a light maltiness that has some corn and apple, but not over the top. The flavor is full bodied with prominent spicy and floral hops, more corn and light malts. Very creamy mouthfeel. Excellent stuff. Capa (3325) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - AUG 27, 2015
Clean, malty lager. Light earth an fruit notes but mostly grain. Refreshing with a nice light bite. Good lager.
