>> Clear red brown pour, weaker foam. Mild phenol nose, potpourri, zesty red grapefruit. Taste is sour, dry, potpourri, lactic, tea, leaves. Prickly carbonation. Pretty decent dark sour, but not outstanding.
On tap @ Hogs Apothecary. Nice ruby colored beer with some off-white foam. Definitely some acetic qualities as well as a bit of black cherry soda. Sort of an oxidized fruit character to it as well, like overcooked plums or something...raisin, too. Lots of red wine vinegar flavor to this, which kind of overwhelms it. It’s an alright effort. Draft at Tiger Tiger. Pours clear reddish brown with very little head. Nose and taste is sour cherries and mild sweetness.

Juicy cherries, mild butter, black pepper and brettanomyces converge in this soft Flemish-style Red.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam covers the cloudy dark red.
-Carbonation is quite low, which doesn’t help the flavor profile that much, imho.
-The cherry fruitiness is overt and quite pleasant.
-Brettanomyces flavors add to the spiciness.
-Acidity is moderate.

Tap at Sublime Ale House. Pours brown with a small, fizzy beige head, short with spare lacing. Aroma is light acetic grapes and plums, cherry, light toast malt, and earthy yeast notes. Flavor is tart and acetic grapes and plums, stone fruit, light malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.
