Pours a very dark brown color with a small khaki head. Aromas are kind of light and consist of roasted nuts and dark chocolate. Flavors are more of the same but with some breadiness mixed in there. Finishes slightly bitter and the body is a bit watery and thin. A decent but forgettable beer.

Tap at the brewpub. Nutty, bit of choc, bit sweet, some bitterness. Decent. Malty and nice.

Vom Faß im Brew 3.14, Seoul. - Fast schwarz, dunkelbeigefarbene dünne Schaumdecke. - In der Nase Mokka mit deutlicher aber angenehmer Säurenote, Süßholz. - Im Antrunk kräftige Mokka-Röstnoten. Die deutliche fruchtige Säure ist gut eingebunden. Schlanker Körper, schön trocken. im Abgang mild fruchtiger Hopfen, leicht holzig, etwas aschig; leicht seifig. - Schön mokkaartiges Stout mit ausgeprägter aber angenehmer fruchtiger Säure. Gut! Super dark with a ring head. Strong notes of coffee and chocolate. This one seems like it would fill you up.

I can’t see light through this beer, which has a lasting ring head.
Its aroma has a hint of coffee in and is a generally treacly and brown
This tastes slightly watery but fills out on swallowing.
Malt-oriented, though there’s a bit of a hop tingle. Some treacle.
Quite solid though not astounding. Does leave some roast, mostly
light in nature.
Unusually, Phil did not share this.

The aroma is a nice mixture of licorice and spice.
The taste is nutty, licorice with the mildest lemon bitterness in the background.
The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation.
A tasty brew.
