Thanks to octo for the share. Pours a medium brown with a white head. Nose is smoke, band-aid, some chocolate, and earthy peppers. Flavor is similar with some smoke and peppers leading the forward march, a small wood presence, and hints of sweetness behind the peppers. Interesting offering.
On 06/18/2011. Clear dark brown body with small white head. Sweet dark malt, fruit and chile aroma with vanilla hints. Sweet chocolate, chili and light vanilla flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation. shadey (2171) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Black shiny pour. Little head. Burnt malt flavor. A little watery. Okay. Burnt is the primary flavor. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 29, 2012
[4688-20120817] Growler. Sweetened caramel toasted malt aroma. Clear, dark brown amber body with a quick foamy off-white head. Toasted caramelized malt flavour has a hint of a chili spice to it. Medium body. Interesting to sample. (6/3/7/3/13) 3.2

Shared at Campground Brewdown. Poured a dark brown center with red/brown edges and a small tight foamy light beige head. Aroma had a slight hint of diacytel, vanilla, oak, chocolate, dark toast, vanilla extract. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and slight heat on the end from the peppers. Flavor of chocolate, light bourbon, small hint of vanilla, lightly burnt toast. Overall it’s meh, think they just had too much going on with this one. bmac01 (6) - Hendersonville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 27, 2012 does not count
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2012 Surprisingly good. My experience with "pepper" beers has not always been pleasant, but this one is not overpowering. Had it on tap at the Craggie Brewery in Asheville. Dark brown with quickly evaporating beige head. Nice taste without a bad burn. Definitely worth the try.

An odd one. No longer using Belgian yeast. Habanero burn, sort of owns the beer. Mellow malty chocolate background never gets past the spicy pepper tastes. Oily, pepper porter. OK. jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Sampled at Kramer’s Campground Brewdown 2012. Pours a deep brown body with tan lacing. Aroma is roast and caramel malts. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of spice, roast, toasted caramel malts and light pepper. burg326 (5628) - Florida, USA - SEP 3, 2012
64 ounce growlerr from my boss, poured a dark cola brown color withh aromas of light peppers, lighht vanilla and a touch of roasted malt. Flavors are light, some light peppers in the aftertaste, also some cola. Interesting beer, lightly carbonated. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Draft in a flight at the brewpub. Really impressive, actually. Great roasting and smoke from the chipotle which really made it inviting. Glad I found this one. jercraigs (11071) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 26, 2012
2012-08-17. Dark brown with a small tan head. 3+ Mild roast aroma, dark malt, muted pepper notes? 6+ Flavour is odd, dry dusty malt, modest burny pepper. 6+ Average bodied palate. Meh, okay less offensive than I expected since neither bourbon nor chipotle are amongst my favorite things.. Growler, Campground Brewdown 2012
