Growler from Libation Station in Johnson City. Turns out the growler cap wasn’t on quite right which led to some TSA issues at the airport, but evidently did not do any damage. The beer pours a slightly hazed orange color with a thick and foamy white head that dissipates slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruits and hops. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, mango and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Thanks to jcwattsrugger for the share. Cheers, John! Pours a hazy orange with an off-white head. Nose is mango, tropical fruit, some light pineapple, caramel, guava, papaya, and citrus hops. Flavor follows the nose well- pineapple, mango, guava, and papaya, with all notes of tropical fruit with light citrus. Lingering tropical fruit in the finish. jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - DEC 13, 2012

On tap at Craggie Brewery. Nice hop aroma - as expected. Cloudy amber / gold color. Big hop flavors - mostly pine and grapefruit. Mango sweetness noticed in back but not too much. Also rye malt and caramel. very full flavored. Dry feel. Another fine, unique beer from Craggie.

Draft in a flight at the brewpub. I never would have thought that a mango would go so well with an IPA, but it does. Great notes of sweetness and mango in the nose, but still a little of the hoppy bitterness on the taste. Good brew. Shag (3045) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - AUG 29, 2012
A dark orange color with a white head. Aroma contains some mango, perfume, and grapefruit. The flavor is not too bitter, well balanced, with more tropical fruit and oranges. This one is more sour than bitter. Overall this is a good and different for sure. nearbeer (5604) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 5, 2012
Pint on tap. Slightly hazy copper with a small ring of cream. Nose is light mango, apricot and orange banana. First taste is grainy caramel and light citrus. Later sips turn more citrus, with a big finish of resin. Near-medium body has light carbonation. Suttree (6505) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Ever just not "get" a beer? I don’t mean that you don’t like it, I mean that you have no idea what the brewer is trying to achieve. That’s the case here. Is it a fruity beer? An IPA? I get nice hoppy bitterness - in fact, the IPA portion of the beer is nicely executed. The Mango just seems out of place. It’s not bad, it’s just...weird... Draft at the source. Hazy amber color. Aroma of citrus. Taste is bitter citrus with mango.
