COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Agent Provocateur is a strongly hopped beer - a hybrid of an IPA and a Belgian golden ale. Bright, colourful notes of exotic fruits (pineapple, grapefruit and lime) and spices give way to a solid, long bitter finish. This beer is an excellent aperitif and goes perfectly with spicy food. Brewed by Craig Allan @ De Proef

Aroma: bread, dough, leaves, spice, hay, floral, banana (a little) ; Appearance: pale, golden, cloudy, white foam, medium to big head ; Taste: light sweetness, lightly bitter, very lightly sour ; Palate: full body, slick feel, lively, somewhat bitter long finish. You need to drink it at room temperature, otherwise it is useless. Refreshing, and very interesting. Good belgian-like innovation.

Bottle. Really bitter for a traditional Belgian ale, almost an IPA. Moderate malty, medium/heavy hopy, with citrus and herbal flavour.

33cl bottle. Golden/clear amber with a thick fluffy head. yesaty spicy malts, belgian style but rather clean. Some timid hoppyness. medium sweet, drier finish, average carbonation. Nothing wrong but quite an ordinary belgian ale.
