COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Agent Provocateur is a strongly hopped beer - a hybrid of an IPA and a Belgian golden ale. Bright, colourful notes of exotic fruits (pineapple, grapefruit and lime) and spices give way to a solid, long bitter finish. This beer is an excellent aperitif and goes perfectly with spicy food. Brewed by Craig Allan @ De Proef

biirusaikou (2705) - - JAN 11, 2016
Bottle from Bieres Cultes. Average hoppiness with floral and citrus notes, earthy touch of pepper and herbs, drinks more like a belgian pale ale maybe, decent brew but probably not on par with Belgian stuff.

Bottle at home. Aroma is floral, grass, spicy yeast, a bit perfumed, fruity, malt, tangerine, hops. Flavour is light sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Medium bodied. Pretty good, well-balanced floral yeasty hoppy beer.

Advent Calendar beer No2. Pale yellow, bit hazy, sparkling, creamy head is off-white and sticks nicely giving lacing. Very Ipa’ish aroma, exotically fruity wit mango, pineapple, tangerine, caramel malt under this, nice. Fizzy, light, bitter, herbal notes, dry but fruity to long finish. Nice, fresh and refreshing. Probably really does work as aperitif. Enjoyed in Chimay glass... next time I’ll use tulip to keep the beautiful aroma lively and easier to catch.

Lubiere (14192) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 29, 2015
A golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, OK. In mouth, biscuit malt with citrusy floral hops, a bit of Pledge cleaner, a bit thin bodied, OK. Bottle from Le Bon Marché, April 2015.

Moebbels (824) - FINLAND - NOV 6, 2015
A fairly clear yellow body with a huge well-lasting white head. Nose is pretty dull with notes of pepper, rapeseed flowers, herbs and metal. Taste is bitter and somewhat harsh with a lingering bitter finish. Very high carbonation, foam keeps forming in the mouth. This was a pretty rough and boring IPA for my taste.

3.5
HopfenWeisse (1558) - - OCT 17, 2015
Cler golden bronze color with big fluffy head. Aroma is fruity and citrus. Flavor is caramel, malt, citrus.

Bottle 33cl. Almost clear medium amber, small foamy white to off-white head, settles quickly, light lacing; fruity nose, orange peel, light grapefruit, grass, light herbal; taste light sweet and medium bitter, citrusy, herbal notes; medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation; medium dry bitter and grassy finish, herbal/spicy notes; a nice well-hopped Blonde.
