Sampled at Lupulin. This is a nice merging. Pleasant earth, yeast, grain, juice, malts, and fruit. A little floral. Dry. Quite nice, really. koleminer20 (3591) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - NOV 30, 2016
From notes. Enjoyed at a tasting at Mickey’s house on November 01. 750 mL bottle. The pour is a darker clear gold with a thick pillowy white head that falls down slowly with a hefty lace left behind. The aroma is a total mango bomb on the front end. There is a light yeastiness to it and a decent hoppiness that follows. There is a hint of graininess and it’s just a little messy. The flavor is much of the same. There is a soapiness and a bitter hop resin behind some strong yeasty malts and a string grain. It’s not as fruity as the nose, and just doesn’t do a lot for me. The mouth feel is a little syrupy and heavy with a brighter carbonation and a lingeringly sweet and hoppy bitter finish. This is all over the place. thegreenrooster (4402) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 19, 2016
Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is a equally stellar mix of hops and yeasty barnyard esters. Flavor is the same a very dry malt profile with a lot of oily hops and esters with a little white pepper spice. You could call this a farmhouse IPA or a hoppy saison and you would correct with both descriptions. Really flavoful and the best of both worlds. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 29, 2016
750 ml bottle. Bottled on 08/02/16. (Ranchmart Wine & Spirits) Leawood, KS.theisti (4126) - Kansas, USA - OCT 4, 2016
Clear golden color with a mid-size foamy white head.
Very nice aroma of fresh hops, mild bitterness, yeast, dryness, grainy malt and mild glue. The flavor is hops, moderate bitterness, dryness, grainy malt, yeast and some earthy notes. Nice combo.
Draft Tulip at Rye in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is a golden copper, mostly clear with some nice fine nice carbonation bubbles that rise to the surface, building a 1 inch perfectly white head. Nice lace left on the glass as the beer drinks down. The aroma is soft fresh Saison earth, bright floral citrus hops and a bit of lemon to the back. The taste is bright, fresh and clean, beautiful Saison grain earth accented by the floral citrus hops. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and a mineral Saison yeast finish. Great execution a fresh hoppy Saison. Right up my alley.

Bottle. Pours a foggy orange color with a thick, frothy white head. Very Belgiany. Slight hops in the aroma. Thick taste. Some malt and hops mixed together. Strong Belgian ale presence. Good brew though. MetalNHopHead (1976) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - AUG 30, 2016
Funky IPA isn’t always something that works, but Crane has figured out a solid way to do it. Copper-colored pour - this looks neither like IPA nor Farmhouse Ale, which makes sense since it’s a mix between the two. Smells like barnyard, dank hops, and earth. Flavor is definitely unusual. Bread, Brett, citrusy hops, and a mustiness that’s not unpleasant. I’d like a little more hoppiness, but in a lot of ways this reminds me of Anchorage’s Bitter Monk. That’s a flattering comparison for sure. HuskerTan (2202) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - AUG 28, 2016
A- Caramel, floral, fruity, malty.
A- Copper color, clear liquid, white head.
T- Caramel, bready.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish.
O- I expected some tartness or funk with this one. Pretty choke full of caramel and bready malts. Alright. MaBeer1972 (2058) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUN 20, 2016
Bottle from the brewery. Pours out a hazy light golden amber with a frothy off white head. Bright fruity-citrus aromas. Classic Belgian-style yeast notes. Quite bready. Very flavorful and refreshing. Interesting take on the style. teighmy (4) - Kansas, USA - JUN 11, 2016 does not count
The pour was a nice copper color. The overall taste was really good. I didn’t find it too hoppy which was nice. I recommend this beer for IPA lovers.
