~16 oz draft at BRGR in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is a light haze golden with a small white head, nice head retention. The aroma is rich herbal, Saison yeast notes and citrus floral. The taste is the herbal, hay straw grass, clove, the Saison yeast and some citrus lemon towards the back. All nicely integrated. The palate is medium bodied with an unfiltered mouth feel and the citrus yeast finish. Nice saison, lots of character.

From the bottle share. Light in color with orange zest and some fruit and yeast in body.

Orange pour from 22oz bottle in Dubuque. White fluffy head. Pepper and spices on a tropical and citrus fruity body. Really tasty

Bottle purchased at Lukas Liquor. Bready aroma, medium amber with minimal head retention. Yeasty with slightly bitter, hoppy, crisp finish. I may be a little biased because I visited the brewery and had a good time, but overall a decent Saison.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2016 Amber color thin foamy head. Pour out of 750ml bottle. My first local crane offering. Mild yeasty and bready with a slight finish of sweet fruit. Very comparable to tank 7 but less strong and easier to drink. Nice

Bottle-november 2015 bottle date. pours slightly hazy dark orange hue with a small fizzy head. Nose is slightly musty lightly metallic, floral, dark fruits-very little saison character if you ask me. almost like a slightly funky dubbel. Flavors of yeasty bread, dark fruits, slight phenolic notes and a bit of slight barnyard "funk". a solid brew but not really a saison but still a decent brew.

It pours hazy golden with an off white head. The aroma has peach, caramel, light earthiness and more richness than expected. It has a fairly full body with soft carbonation. The taste has the richness of French saison and the earthiness of Belgium. There’s also a bit of grass/leaves. Pretty decent.

Crane’s Saison is traditional, conservative approach to the style which will make purists happy. Effervescent golden body. Fruity and earthy yeast esters. There’s lightly toasted bread and spices in the taste profile. Just a hint of soured fruit. This feels like classically bright Saison. In a time where Saisons are eclectic as ever, Crane goes for stylistic purity. And there’s nothing wrong with that at all.

Draft/Fest. A- Bubble gum, banana. A- Gold color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Bubble gum, banana, wheat. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, yeasty finish. O- Reminded me a lot more of a hefe than saison. Lots of gum and banana and not much spice. Okay overall.
