On draft at the brewery. Cranberry is present in the aroma as well as appearance - it’s reddish orange with little head but quite a bit of carbonation that hits he palate hard initially. Taste is hard to distinguish at first because of this, but it has an almost grapefruity sourness and champagne notes, tart and dry cranberry finish. Crane does sours well so this is a solid beer, but I personally prefer their goses as they are more complex. ads135 (4727) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 29, 2017
Pours red with a pungent spicy aroma. Cranberry appearance, a little ginger and pepper, with a nice amount of citrus in the tart finish. Tried with Brandon at the brewery in 2017. theisti (4138) - Kansas, USA - MAR 27, 2017
750 ml bottle purchased at Ranchmart Liquors in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is a slight haze orange ruby with a thin off white head. The aroma is cranberry, orange peel, bright funk and a tart soft sour. Also a bit of potpourri spice. The taste is cranberry tart, ginger spice and classic berliner tart soft sour notes. Clean and tasty. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and the tart cranberry finish. Pulled the flavors together really nicely. Draft at Oak & Ore. Hazy pinkish color. Floral aroma. Taste is softly sour flowers. Easy drinking. NachlamSie (3507) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 23, 2017
Bomber gifted to me. This is stark red, clearly the result of the cranberry. The head is even slightly pink. Aromatic notes of said cranberry mix well with barnyard, hay, and ginger. This is one very dry beer. Pretty strong acidity too, but it’s clean and not off-putting. It’s great how well the cranberry works with the base beer, it’s seamless. The ginger melds so well in the flavor that it’s hard to even pick out. A faint touch of burn is barely noticed in the finish. This is a really adept sour beer and it makes excellent use of the adjuncts.
