Draught at Agro Café, Granville Islandmgermani (1010) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 11, 2007
Hazy amber color; creamy head, a thin layer is very persistent. Light caramel and apple aroma, then light malt; simple. The flavor is better: malt, caramel and toffee in equal proportions, strong bitterness, with final toastiness; maybe a bit too dry and bitter at the end.. Quite good.
Pours a cloudy orange-yellow with a nice head & some lacing. I could hardly detect an aroma. Taste is full of hops! Sourish and wheaty notes, as well. Body is thick and creamy, overall I thought it was very interesting and I liked the opping. Not bad! Sampled at the GCBF. jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 27, 2007

Copper coloured beer with a thin white head.Mild hops in the nose. The taste was a decent balance of malt and bitter hops. A pretty straightforward pint. JoeMcPhee (9549) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 29, 2004
Chill hazed rich copper-coloured beer with a large creamy off-white head. Aroma is very malty and also shows nice lemon citrus notes and faint fruit/berry esters as well. Very well-hopped showing nice spicy character. Flavour is also quite citrusy and malty with a lasting bitterness. Well-balanced brew. Body is dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma was moderately malty with a noticeable herbal and earthy smell. Flavour was a nice balance of hops, and malts with a long bitter finish. Texture was medium and dry with soft carbonation. An enjoyable bitter. Sparkling amber, lasting beige head. Light malt nose.Malty fore and mid taste with a medium hop finish. Oakes (18756) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 1, 2001
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2005 Hazy amber colour with rocky, slightly caramel-coloured head. Very toasty - slightly astringent actually - body. Slightly nutty. Body sort of thin - sadly, a one-dimensional beer, very dry and dusty.
