On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a deep dark mahogany / brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out various Christmas spices, English malt and subtle toffee notes. Flavour brings out loads of English malts, toffee, dried dark fruits (plum especially), and some spices mixed in thee without being too overburdening. Very well-constructed, though a little light on the palate for being 8.5%. Good stuff. Ferris (15403) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 10, 2014
Draft - Orange, malts and some spice. Cloudy brown with a nice rich beige head. Orange, Christmas spice, malts and a spice and light peel finish. Too much going on for me. sillybraggot (2) - - FEB 3, 2013 does not count

Dark brown color, small creamy head. The aroma is lightly spicy/minty. Caramel flavor, with moderate sweetness, and loads of nutmeg; correct bitterness. Funny beer; the underlying Ale is not bad. At least nutmeg is better than cinnamon. Decent.
Opaque brown, huge lasting beige head.Light raisin aroma.Starts lightly malty, then nothing but alcohol
Frankly...it sucks Hooker (467) - Coquitlam, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 12, 2005
Opaque copper colour with lasting creamy white head. Mild fruity hop nose with slight malt undertones. Mild bitter hop taste with slight bitter alcohol finish. Oakes (17685) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 19, 2004
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2005 Cloudy light brown. Sweet, chocolatey aroma with mandarin, black cherry, toffee. Body is oily. Rich, slightly oily body. Sweet, fruity, toffeeish flavour with notes of alcohol in the finish. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 19, 2004
Cloudy brown beer with a thin white head. Aroma is completely unlike anything I’ve ever had. Pine/juniper combined with lemon and grapefruit citrus. Oily and vineous texture. Flavour shows loads of lemon, warm baking spices, yeasty and a spicy citrusy finish. Very tasty... I need more.
