Draught at Darby’s Pub, Vancouvermcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 30, 2012
Cloudy blond color, small head. The aroma is delicate, herbal (heather, thyme), a bit footy. It has some bread flavor, very light herbs, maybe butter, and no bitterness whatsoever. Very weak final.
Not knowing anything about it, I’d guess this is a hop-less beer.
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, light Belgian spices and some feint blueberries. Flavour of wheat, very feint blueberries. Very simply, but refreshing on a hot day. Decent. mgermani (1002) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 11, 2007
Pours a light brown with no head and a typical wit aroma with a bit of caramel. Upfront, this tastes like a regular ale but dissolved quickly into a watery wit, but with some decent spiciness. Thin body and low carbonation don’t really help this beer. Too watery, half-hearted hybrid of a wheat. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 27, 2007
@GCBF-on cask-pours a foamy light tan head and hazy amber color. Aroma is coriander, malt. Taste is coriander, yeast, malt, some spice, citrus. Mild carbonation. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 15, 2007
GCBF cask conditioned sample. Nice head. Malt and wheat nose. Peaty light body. Light fruit and dirty wheat flavour. Light orange finish.

Hazy amber colour. Fresh grain nose is slightly spicy, with chocolate chip accents. The body is slick, with light spiciness. Finishes a bit watery despite plenty of aromatic promise. CapFlu (5129) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 10, 2007
(Draught) Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival 2007 in Victoria on September 7th, 2007. Provides a pleasant grass and seedy front. Minor banana flavour but oh so smooth.
