500ml bottle bought from the Wanstead Tap at the Wanstead Farmer’s Market. A good, gentle session beer. A golden colour with a medium white head. A dry tasting beer, gently hoppy, with a mild caramel aftertaste.

Cask at the brewery. A little darker than I was expecting and also more sweet and malty. Enjoyable beer though, with nice floral notes.

Cask, 1/2 pint, hand-pulled, State Bar, Glasgow, floral, toffee aroma, straw with a bubbly off-white head and intermittent thick lacing, earthy, fruity, toffee flavour, oily, odd bittersweet aftertaste.

Cask at crate. Pours clear golden, nose is toffee, floral, taste is similar, sweet, light fruit.

Cask @ The Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, white head. Biscuity malt aroma, continues to taste. Unfussy golden ale.

niquillis (2679) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2015
Cask at Hop Inn, Newcastle under Lyme. Pours golden with a white head. Sweet fragrant parma violet like start, dry hop, some malt. OK golden.

Cask at the brewery. It was light bodied and smooth but was I felt a fairly generic English blond with everything subdued but melding together well. According to the brewer it wasn’t in peak form any longer.

Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - AUG 10, 2015
Caramel colour, small white head. Malty aroma, caramel, hint of hops. Malty flavour, caramel, light bitter note. Bitter finish, caramel.
(from bottle @ the crate brewpub, RBESG 2014, London. As Crate Best Bitter.)

Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Thickish, lasting, bubbly, white head. Sweet, fruity malts. Taste is sweet, turning fairly bitter. It’s very malty. It’s also pretty bland. Didn’t enjoy this one.

Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 9, 2015
From my backlogg: Bottle at the brewery, London 2014. Clear golden beer with an offwhite head. Malty caramell, bready fruity aroma. Malty caramell grassy flavour.
