Tap. Dark red body, smaller off-white head. Aroma of berries, clove, malts, a bit tart. Taste is smoothly bitter, neutral. Clove again, roots, berries, spoces, cranberries, gentle tones of caramel. Medium body and carbonation.
Tasty, nicely balanced.

Bottle. Pours in cloudy amber body with medium low white head. Aroma has belgian spiciness, grassy background. Taste has medium earthy bitterness upfront with a yeasty character in the following. Very cloudy, probably end of the barrel as it has a lot of yeast. Body is medium, medium carbonation.

0,1l from tap at Salon Piva. dark orange cloudy color, small off-white head. smells belgian yeasty, spices, some fruit notes, peach, peppery. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes belgian yeasty, spices, peppery, light fruit notes, light caramel, some grass. finishes lightly dry with notes of belgian yeast, light grass and fruity / peach notes. good one, classical style example / a bit on the grassy side. Tap at Salon piva. Quite simple but characteristic amongst Belgian beers. Spicy, but subtle, so that the result is relatively easy drinking. Good balance. Subtle herbal grassy hoppiness. Good one.
