This delightfully floral American style Amber Ale displays a wonderful balance while still maintaining a profound hoppy goodness. We load this beer with a ridiculous and obscene amount of West Coast hops that are added late in the boil resulting in a hoppy beer without any bitterness.

12 oz bottle. This one is probably underrated - I found it to be quite nice and above average. So goes the ratings world.

Served on tap at blue pan. Hazy red brown color with a white head. Floral Melon aroma. Floral toasted malt flavor with a little resin finish. Medium body. Much lighter than expected from an Amber. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml can. Clear amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Nuttily malty aroma, hints of hazelnut and nougat, some earthy walnut nuttiness. Taste is slightly sweet nuttily malty, minimally dry nutty hints of nutshell. Monotonous and slightly watery.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8142) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 11, 2016
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large creamy-fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweetish, toasty and malty with sour caramel, tobacco, a slightly off presence and some fruity hops. The flavor was malty and bitter with honey, caramel, an off presence and tobacco. Fairly astringent. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good.

GTAEgeek (2411) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 14, 2016
Sample from a bottle. Pours a clear, light orange, with a medium, bubbly head. The aroma is bready malts, floral hops, and not a whole lot else. Sweet and fairly bitter, and surprisingly well balanced. Medium body, clean, and a little flat. This is an easy, solid hoppy amber, but nothing special.

scoth (690) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 7, 2016
Pours clear amber with a medium beige head, medium retention. Aromas of hay, caramel, toast, with some juicy floral and tropical notes. Light medium body, smooth, medium carbonation. Lightly sweet, a hint of citrus, then a tasty herbal finish that tempts a big bitter finish, but ends up being a lingering gentle bitter whisper. All this time I thought I didn’t really like ambers.

Finhead (1814) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JAN 18, 2016
Clear, amber pour with a small, white head. The aroma has sugary malt and bread. It has a light, watery body with average carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with a sticky finish.

HuskerTan (2396) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - NOV 3, 2015
Can. A- Caramel, bread, crackers, smoked peat, pine, subtle citrus. A- Amber color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Caramel, biscuits, subtle bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- This actually has a bit of taste to it. Wasn’t a huge fan, but it was drinkable.
