COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
n the 1960s, before Vail Village was paved and closed to vehicles, "hookiebobbing" referred to those committed fools who, while on skis, grabbed onto the bumper of passing cars to tow them up to the lifts. Our IPA is a Colorado approach to the American take of an English classic. Three aggressive yet floral American hops and one hop from Down Under team together to make a bright, citrusy and floral India Pale Ale. A deep caramel malt helps to balance the bitterness of the hops and lets the complex hop bill shine.
Hopped with Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial and Galaxy.

Pours amber color with white head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Hoppy flavor but taste a little watered down. Good beer but I was hoping for more bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Middle of the road IPA. Tried for the first time back in 2011. Golden with a thick white head. Citrusy aroma, thick resinous bitterness.

Hazy golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Ok hoppy aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Grapefruit hoppy, floral and fruity flavor. Decent tasty beer. Ok tail and a semi dry texture.

Keg at the East Street Tap, Brighton. Gold pour with a white head. Vanilla, honey and citrus aroma which segues nicely into the flavour. Good bitter finish. Tasty .

Can. Cloudy golden body with a frothy, white head, diminishing. Off-putting aroma of litter box, old shoes, citrus, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Taste of citrus, pine and some tropical fruit. Slightly sour. Hard to get around the aroma.

355ml can: BBD 14th May 18. Poured into a Duvel glass at home on 2nd Aug 17. Hazy orange body, full white blanket of foam on top. Piney hop nose on a bed of maltiness. Taste is semi-bitter and again, a piney hop lead with an undertone of malty goodness. Liked it.

Thin off white head left a cover on a hazy gold coloured still body. Juicy aroma of sweet citrus, orange & hops. Medium bodied, smooth, soft on the palate & a slight tingle on the back. Dry. Bitter hops, grapefruit, citrus, mango, spice & pepper.

355ml can. Clear gold, large white head. Nose - citrus, melon, fruity. Taste - pine, resin, citrus, light malt. Finishes with light bitterness and long pine and resin aftertaste. Strong carbonation. Light and not as aggressive as I was hoping for, but no flaws.

Can from Booths, Windermere. Pale golden with a thin white head. It has a sugary sweet floral, citrus and sherbet flavour followed by zesty, warming, slight soapy tart notes. Not great for the high ABV.

Bottle at The Red Squirrel. It’s a bit strange for an IPA: very cloudy, but not tropical. Light hops and citrus comes through. Very pleasant: feels more like an American wheat ale in its flavour profile to me.
