Tap @ brewery. Clear light gold, with a great aroma of orange peel, coriander, grains of paradise, with a slight floral character. Big note of orange citrus on start of flavor, turns wheaty and grainy in the middle. Ends with more citrus and flowers. Bright and flavorful, without blandness or too much funk. Hazy gold with a thin white head. Creamy medium-full body with medium-high carbonation.S_Side_Smitty (776) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - MAY 14, 2012
Aroma: lots of chamomile and raw wheat, with coriander and paradise seeds.
Taste: strong chamomile, tart wheat, some bitter orange in the center, and some faint grainy astringency and other odd notes from paradise seeds (i’m not very familiar with them) or phenolics. Tastey and interesting, could make cool food pairings.
Pours light gold with a small white head. Aroma is light wheat, grains, faint citrus, and maybe (just maybe) some light maple syrup. Taste is very malty - you can really taste the grains upfront and in the mid-palate. Those malt flavors finish with a short lived bitter bite - a pleasing bitter bite. For a wit beer, this one is pretty complex and one of the better ones I’ve had. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 24, 2014
355ml can. Golden color, large head. Smell is lemony, some chamomile. Flavor is lemony again, lemon curd, dry cracker, this is actually a pleasant surprise. superspak (5694) - Michigan, USA - AUG 18, 2014
12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours hazy bright gold color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, chamomile, pepper, clove, wheat, bread, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, chamomile, pepper, clove, wheat, oats, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, chamomile, pepper, clove, wheat, bread, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant flavors with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with very solid robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. No watery feeling at all in the flavors. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice and pleasant witbier. All around good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Draft. Unclear dark yellow. Creamy white head. Wheat. Citrus. Spice stays in the background. A little tang. Lighter bodied. Creamy. A really nice wit. Not the boring or overly spiced stuff I see a lot. Unique. I’d have another. Rrauth (1196) - North Carolina, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Can. Nice beer for the morning. A bit more flavorful than I was expecting. I like it better than most wits.

[Can] Golden pour with a slight amount of haze to it. Coriander and chamomile are evident in the otherwise light and floral aroma. Sweet grains, wheat malt, lemon and sweet orange, coriander and faint vanilla in the flavor. Spritzy carbonation. Decent body for the style. A pleasant surprise! Tasting notes from 9/2014.
