This Ale is our take on a classic Belgian Wit Beer. To make this beer unique, we add un-malted wheat, rolled oats, two varieties of classic European hops, chamomile, curacao orange peel, coriander, grains of paradise, and a rare yeast strain from the Old Country. This is a beer that can be enjoyed year round. Cheers!

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with two fingers of thick frothy white head. Nose shows a significant spice profile and definite floral quality. A touch of sweet citrus rind shows through as well . Yeasty notes with some bread dough. Way too much spice in the flavor. Takes on a musty/dusty character and dominates the flavor. A touch of citrus rind but mostly spice. Medium light body and dry on the finish.

355ml can. Gold, just lightly hazy. The head was thin and faded fast. Nose - wheat and lemon. Taste -the usuual clove and spice/yeast profile with light wheat notes and something out of place which I’m guessing was the chamomile. Dry, finish. Overall not a vibrant witbier.

Can. It poured a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma was of wheat, honey and lemon. The taste was similar to the aroma with more wheat, honey, lemon and a touch of clove. Decent.

12oz can - its a clear honey colored yellow with a very thin off white head. Fruity aroma of apricot, lemon/lime, honeysuckle and a light grainy malt. Light body and nice carbonation. Light fruit, mild spices and a hint of oats.

shrubber85 (11506) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 26, 2016
Bottle. Orange, lemon, coriander, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy pale yellow with moderate but short lasting head. Tangy moderately sweet orange/linalool, light wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Light body.

Patrickctenchi (6661) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 25, 2016
Bottle: Hazy, pale, clear/yellow with a small white head. Wheat, oats, stale orange-tea aroma. Taste is orange malt.....not sweet....wheat malt, chamomile... Different.....not bad, but it’s all a bit vague.... Sort of a wheat beer/ mild ale mix......

ClubGonzo (5685) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 14, 2016
Can. Pours a hazy pale golden body with a small white head. Nose is cinnamon, straw, pale malts, white sugar and hints of citrus, herbs and wheat. Taste is sweet spicy tones of cinnamon and herbs, chamomile and hints of wheat, citrus and pale malts. Light to medium body, medium to high carbonation. Decent beer, but a bit sweet in its spice composition which actually gets in the way of the freshness somehow. Original, but kinda far from a wit, all in all.

scoth (687) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 12, 2016
Pours hazy pale yellow with a medium white head, excellent retention. Aromas of banana bread, tangerine, coriander, and pepper. Light body, smooth and creamy, good carbonation. Lightly sweet, lightly tart, gentle bitter finish. Refreshing, quaffable. Really enjoyable wit.

drdisque (870) - Illinois, USA - MAR 26, 2016
On tap at High Dive. Bright, light, unremarkable, fairly flavorless wit. Honestly one of the most boring beers I’ve had. I mean it’s not offensive or anything. It’s just there.
