On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, clove and cinnamon. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, clove, cinnamon and allspice with a smooth dry lingering spiced finish. JK (6280) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - JAN 1, 2015
On tap at a beer bar near the Denver airport GABF weekend. Pumpkin pie spice, but dry and herbal with some squash flavor and aroma. Gold color and a thick white head. Danyel (1609) - Colorado, USA - DEC 6, 2014
Tap at Crazy Mountain. Pours clear orange with white head. Aroma is very baking spice, pumpkin, cinnamon. Taste medium bodied, not over spiced but the spice is still there, the pumpkin comes through amazingly well, low carbonation. Overall, pretty good. onceblind (10548) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 16, 2014
Lightly hazy brilliant copper with not much head. Nose had typical allspice and clove notes of pumpkin pie spices, with a bit of ginger. Big synthetic pumpkin flavor with allspice and ginger taking the lead on this one, with a little cinnamon coming in later with some more "pumpkin" tones after. Meh. Standard pumpkin ale as far as I can tell. commonshawn (1321) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Tap at happy gnome. Pint glass. Dark clear gold with small head. Heavy spice aroma of clove nutmeg and allspice. Taste is similar spice flavor as aroma with a slight bit of pumpkin creaminess. Medium body. Pretty well balanced. Good pumpkin attempt.

Tap pour at Happy Gnome. Pint glass. Plenty of spice on the nose and the pumpkin makes its presence known. The taste actually comes across as a better balance of spice and pumpkin. Definitely not an overly spiced option. The closest approximation of actual pumpkin pie I’ve tried. Still a little thin on the palette which is typically the problem with pumpkin ales. It’s a solid choice during this time of year. DenverLogan (1264) - North Bend, Washington, USA - JAN 6, 2014
On tap at Stapleton Tap House last November. Pours amber-gold with small head. Aroma of pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cardamon. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of amber malts, cardamon, nutmeg, allspice, cola, ginger. Overall a big amount of spice but flavorful. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 5, 2013
Pour on tap at the brewery, slightly hazy orange pour with thin white head, aroma brought big pumpkin pie spice, cookie, graham cracker, hints of big pumpkin in there as well with a touch of caramel, toffee, vanilla, and marshmallow. Taste is a bit more subdued, slight cinnamon, clove, into pumpkin, slight cookie, marshmallow sweetness into caramel, toffee, finishing fairly sweet, slightly spicy. bhensonb (15747) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 29, 2013
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber with a creamy white head. Light pie spice aroma. Med body. Flavor is sharpish pie spice, and I think I actually get some squash. Nice version. marcus (10668) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 26, 2013
On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours orange amber with a modest off-white head and a sourish pumpkin aroma. There is a spice up caramel malt flavor with quite a bit of pumpkin.
