On tap at Black Bottle Brewery. Clear, deep orange appearance with frothy, lacy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, toasted grain and light fruity esters. Similar flavor, adding some grassy, earthy and piney hop notes. Medium bitterness with a light dry finish. A bit pithy and unpleasant. Bottle. Clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is maraschino cherry / fruit cocktail hoppiness, simple syrup pale malt sugariness, slightly dirty vitamin / pixy stix yeast. Draft at Devil's Advocate in Minneapolis. Pours a light amber color with a white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is hoppy, pine, light grapefruit citrus. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor sweet, malty, bready, kinda tastes like it has some rye in it, some pine hoppiness, with a light bitter finish. On tap @ Simmzy’s Long Beach. Clear copper colored pour with a soapy white head. Caramel malts, toast, and a really floral, earthy hop profile. A bit orange, pine, and woody herbs, too. Flavor is very sweet up front. There’s a ton of caramel and bread. Kind of sticky. Some pine, resin, and a bit of woody bitterness. Fairly earthy as well with just a bit of orange peel..
