Draft at Southerly Love Brewfest 2014. Hazy yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of earthy light summer fruit. Taste is dry, earthy. Tasty.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2017 Pours a bright hazy green tinged yellow...mostly yellow. Aroma, feel and flavor are all on-point. Lightly funky and sour, with an assertive but not overbearing cucumber and lime nose and feel. Light coriander and perfect salinity and feel make this one of my all-time favorites in the style. Just fantastic, and ridiculously refreshing. 2nd time - had in a tasting. Not only did I enjoy it as much or more than 4.4 Cosmik Debris, it almost held its own with 4.5-4-6 Parabajava. Gotta elevate this masterpiece to a 4.4, which also gives it the top spot in style cleanly over FW (wish I could have the two head to head).

Growler with hella thanks to jbruner! Pours cloudy golden orange with a large off-white head, creamy with nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is watermelon, cucumber, lemon, coriander. Flavor is light sweet and light tart. Lots of watermelon/cucumber stuff going on, wheat, lemon, a touch of saltiness. Medium body, high carbonation, creamy mouthfeel with some finishing salt. Nice effort, and shockingly the cucumber (which I normally hate) did not ruin this at all.

6/14/17. 12oz can from Rome Liquor & Tobacco. Lightly hazed golden orange with a wonderful off-white head. Cucumber aroma is strong, touches of lime, lactic. Cucumber strong in the flavor, salinity is balanced, lime and spice is subtle. The cucumber is a touch too much for my tastes, but still a great beer.

Draft at the brewery with Linh, Scarlett and Mom. Pours a deep, murky peach colored body with thin white lacing. Nose is pure, fresh cucumber water with a hint of lime. Mouthfeel is unbelievably refreshing with the cucumber and lime flavors executed and paired perfectly. Unreal and totally unique - by far the best cucumber beer I’ve had to date.

Athens, Ga - on tap at Champy’s Fried Chicken. sparkling light golden pour, thin, snow white head, Aroma has a very pleasant cucumber thing going on, a hint of lime. Flavor runs along the same lines, throw in a bit of basil and dill to round it out ,The cucumber is very refreshing. Crisp refreshing mouthfeel. Everything I have had from Creature Comforts so far has been stellar,

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2014 Pours a hazy yellow on tap with thin bubbly white head. Aroma of the sour Athena up front then you get vague hints of the vegetal spice. Taste is more towards the salt with the sour lactic wheat behind it. Dry yet refreshing, light and easy, enjoyable. They have updated this beer to be a cucumber lime gose, and it is amazingly refreshing and drinkable now.

Really like this beer on the super hot day that was Boulevardia in 2017. Crisp and cucumbery. Light citrus, saltiness and refreshing crisp finish. Tried with Jess.

Appearance: Pours a hazed, straw-hued body. There’s a slight, small white head, but it fizzles out fairly quickly. Smell: It’s like smelling fresh-cut cucumber. The cucumber is the primary component of the aroma, leaving you some work to smell past it to detect the far, far subtler lime, wheat and even the lactic qualities. Taste: Slender wheat with a very modest hint of sweetness, stirred up with rock salt and lime juice. Then, as with the aroma, it’s a big wallop of cucumber, like guzzling the run-off waters from a Ruby Tuesday’s salad bar. And, for me, it’s this aggressive cucumber taste that hampers the overall flavor, quickly taking over the remaining lime, salt and lactic-laced wheatiness. Shoo, cucumbers! Shoo!! Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation. Reasonably crisp. Overall: Like a lazy sushi bar menu, it’s all cucumber.

On tap at the brickstore. Nice take on the style with a crisp clean flavor and lots of cucumber notes. Little salty, pleasantly so. Crisp fruity aroma. Nice especially as the summer comes to a close.
