Should be the "Double Dark Stout"?? The best thing at the brewpub. A full bodied, creamy stout that was not overly sweet. Some oatmeal in the flavor with a lingering, lightly sweet finish. Good. Faint chocolate aroma.
Fairly bland stout. Looks promising, with a frothy brown head, but doesn’t really deliver on flavour. fletchfighters (1553) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 9, 2013

black pour with a dark brown collar. good lacing
nose is coffee, roast chocolate and touches of caramel. good roast and coffee notes.
taste is pretty much the nose. good roast and coffee notes. small flashes of vanilla to smooth it out. not overly dry and hints of sweetness. well balanced and easy to drink. nice stout DocJitsu (2025) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Pours an opaque, very dark brown color with a chestnut colored head. Big smoky coffee nose. Mouthfeel is smooth and moderately thick. Flavors are mainly campfire smoke with some underlying ripe, red fruit. If you like a smoked porter, this is for you. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - JUN 26, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Big and malty but with a big dark chocolate/espresso malt edge and lower sweetness that makes it almost refreshing despite the heft. Black as night. Definitely more up my alley than sweeter takes on the style.
