Bright amber color with no head. Vegetal, swamp water, caramel aromas. Medium body with low co2. Sourdough bread, spicy caramel, vegetal flavors with a lightly sour finish___off--and weak. snoworsummer (5959) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 17, 2013
Taster at the brew pub. Pours clear medium brown with almost no head. Tastes like malt, nuts, and grains with a hint of orange and caramel. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like malt and pecans. sonnycheeba (6259) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 25, 2013
Tap at brewpub. Pours clear copper with a trace of fizzy off-white head. Aroma is cereal and cookie malts, light caramel, fig, light dates, light floral and woody notes, and faint toast. Flavor is dry malt base with a touch of sweetness and some yeasty floral notes, light stone fruit, and light caramel; smooth finish. Medium body and carbonation. kaser (6366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 4, 2013
Clear orange. Poured from draft at the avenue pub in New Orleans. Sweet. Decent for the style. VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 22, 2012
On tap at brewpub. A red amber with a nice, lasting beige head. Taste is cereals, brown sugar, caramel, biscuit. Some herbal hops with earthy notes. Nice, herbal and spicy finish. Medium bodied. A decent oktoberfest.

Thinnish tan head. Copper color. Very thin body without the heavy malty character I associate with Oktoberfests. Drinkable, but not a beer that I would have again. Derek881 (1272) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 15, 2009
I sampled this beer on tap at the brewpub in New Orleans. The beer had a earthy hop aroma with some roasty malt notes too. It was a light brown-amber color, was clear, and had a small, tan head with low retention and cling. The flavor was earthy hop and some grain, with a bit of malt, and a bit acidic, almost vinegar-ish. It had a thinner, light body with a smooth, light finish and low carbonation. I was not impressed with this beer at all. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - DEC 7, 2008
on tap-pours a thin light tan head and hazy copper color. Aroma is medium malt-sweet, roasty/peat. Taste is medium malt-sweet, roasty/peat, secondary copper/earthy hops. Light side of medium body. OK effervescence. JustinFromAL (125) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Draft. Amber pour with minimal off-white head. Nose was malty and earthy with a taste similar. Nice smooth enjoyable beer. Definitely my favorite of the beers I tried at CCB. desurfer (1302) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - NOV 18, 2008
Dark amber body with little head. Aroma is sweet with some earthy tones. Mostly malt sweetness in the flavor. Your average Marzen.
