Weigh the Anchor, Hoist the Sails! Colossal waves and lashing winds – this was the life of the English sailors whose job it was to bring beer to Colonial India. Only an insane amount of hops and high alcohol content helped it to withstand the perilous journey. Drunken Sailor IPA brings this adventure and powerful taste to the 21st century – Ship Ahoy! Hops: Herkules, Citra, Cascade, Simcoe Malt: Pilsener, Munich, Crystal

12 oz bottle in snifter. Dark straw color. Slightly cloudy. Small white head, reduces quick to soapy lacing. Slight citrus grapefruit aroma with slight sweet biscuit malt. Not to complex. Low upfront hop flavors with a bit of pine, slightly malty, lingering citrus and bitter. Medium carbonation, soapy, thin, but drinkable.

Tolles Aroma, sehr fruchtig. Banane, Grapefruit, Citrus. Naturtrüb, bernsteinfarben. Schöne, stabile und feinporige Krone. Geschmacklich etwas flacher, wenige Aromenvielfalt, aber dennoch schöne Ausgewogenheit von Bitteraromen und Frucht. Angenehme Karbonisierung. Lecker! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2017 botella 33cl @ Galopin SDC. En fin, le falta cuerpo y el amargor es un poco artificial. Necesita mejorar.

Goldenes Bier mit einem weißen Kopf. Aroma ist sehr fruchtig. Der Geschmack ist bitter mit einem trockenen bitteren Finish.

Bottle - pours orange with a big white head. Aroma is marmalade, mango and cereal malt. Taste is citrus from start to finish. Hops build into a dry lingering bitter finish.

Bottle, fairly old, 2 month out of that but kept in good condition. Pours dark orange. Nose very is sweet, citrus, orange, apricot. Palate has lost some of its spark, has gotten pretty sweet, some orange. Bitter finish. Has turned out quite alright.

Maits (564) - ESTONIA - AUG 25, 2017
Little hazy dark yellow sand coloured beer with some white head. Aroma is nice refreshing citrus, hops and pine. Taste is bitter hoppy with some fruity notes. Thin body. Quite nice IPA.

Chopper925 (585) - Gross Gerau, GERMANY - AUG 19, 2017
Bottle. Clear amber color, very small white head. Faint aroma, a little fruity, but not that strong. Dry taste, very high bitterness. Light malty, a bit hoppy fruity aftertaste. Low carbonation, medium texture. I can feel that there is a huge amount of hop in this beer, due to the high bitterness, but it’s almost everything gone into the bittering, and not the aroma.

On tap @Ølfred - Aarhus streetfood Pours golden, with small amount of white foam. Intense hops, not fruity, an IPA as you expect it, more intense though

loscovar (659) - Trieste, ITALY, Villeneuvette, FRANCE - JUL 23, 2017
Bottle from Saver Bière.com Nice use of hops, citrus and fruits, pretty pleasant ipa
