A great beer for a party, one thats drinkable for a large number of peoples taste without resorting to a macro. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 5, 2004
Medium-big head atop a clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some mustiness. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, orange peel, some caramel. Medium bitterness. Light-medium body. Decent, thoughthe sweetness is not quite offset by the bitterness. Dorwart (2607) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - NOV 24, 2004
Thin head but quickly diminishing. Nice aroma with light hops and a bit of citrus (orange). Flavor is malty and sort of dry. Golden orange in color. Nice bitterness shows up at the finish with a nice hops finish and aftertaste. A decent amber ale. Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - NOV 15, 2004
Mellow caramel bready malts with a floral hop finish. Nice dull copper penny color, short head and some lacing. Good aroma - floral sweet. Found this at Circle Liquors in Pennington, NJ. Jine (903) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - OCT 12, 2004

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2004 RERATE: bumping up a few things after a second round with this refreshing ale!
ORIGINAL: A solid ale. Very fresh and lively even after having several beers prior. Certainly a good go-to beer. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 19, 2004
On tap. Poured a medium amber color. Hoppy and malty aroma and tastes. Couldn’t really pick anything special out of it although I enjoyed the overall taste. raymow (1732) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 8, 2004

Yellowish in color and clear. Crisp and clean tasting. Hoppy and malty. Enjoyable beer. Nicely balanced with caramel. Good. Lou18 (1353) - West Paterson, New Jersey, USA - JUL 4, 2004
Good pour out of the tap. Aroma of caramel and toffe, good color and a decent head. Went down really well on a ver HOT day. This is the first of many from nj brewery, which is minutes from my home. They were very nice and invited me back whenever.
