Not a bad light beer. The best thing is its made in Jersey..................
From Aug 2008
I got this bottle in a trade with jwc215. Thanks Joe!
It pours a yellow gold with about an inch of foam. It shrinks quickly to a fine broken layer and there's not much lacing.
The smell has a good hoppy nose to it along with some grain and caramel malt sweetness.
The taste has a good grainy taste to it along with slight caramel and a good grassy hop flavour. This is pretty tasty and most of the all malt lagers I've tasted have been flavourful, some more than others and I think this one falls on the upper end of the spectrum for the style.
Mouthfeel is definitely medium here and I like it. Carbonation is on the lower end for the style. Again, I like it. It finishes slightly bitter, slightly grainy and what the heck. I like that.
Bottom line: This is a nice Lager; Tasty, good mouthfeel, and quite drinkable. I'm very happy that I got a chance to try it as it is a well brewed product, imho. I'd drink it again. No problem. jflopsu (1862) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 2, 2017
Pours orange with white head. A very rough grainy aroma and taste with light citrus and malts. A harsh grainy aftertaste with little bitterness or sweetness. samsmith33 (772) - - OCT 10, 2015
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2015 Not very good at all. Color is Yellow. Roughly Budweiser with a bit more body. I am not a fan of Cricket Hill. yespr (48917) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - OCT 1, 2015
12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and light citrusy. Toasted, bitter and slight herbal. Dry and bitter, herbal. Dry, grassy and bitter finish. puboflyons (3531) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 3, 2015
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle acquired in trade from jcwattsrugger. With my thanks. Golden yellow slightly hazy pour. Heady. Pale, sweet malts, grassy and bushy hops, and backyard moss. Light to medium body. The taste is at first sweet and then ends mildly bitter and dry. A pretty basic lager that is easy to drink.

Bottle. Nothing special but, not terrible. Easy drinkin, light, corn, low carb, not sweet. Football Sunday easy brew.

12 oz. bottle supplied by jcwattsrugger - many thanks! To oversized snifter, it pours a clear deep orange with which a snowy white head 1 finger in length stood. Aromas of seaweed, LME, Bible paper, straw, noble hops, and cotton. Tastes the same with the addition of wet cardboard, banana peppers, and dry bread yeast. Appearance: Slightly to moderately hazy golden body with a tall and dense white head that sticks around for a while.
Aroma: The smell is of corn and malt sweetness, hints of florallnes, but overall like a poor unfinished homebrew.
Taste: Mildly sweet, tastes underattenuated and very poor quality homebrew like. Malts are prominent, but that’s not saying there’s a lot of flavor in it. There are no flaws but this is pretty bad.
Palate: Full-bodied, mildly carbonated. Not crisp at all.
Overall: I am sorry dudes, but I can’t find a redeeming quality in this. If I spent $11 on a six pack of this I’d be very pissed.
Dark Golden light amber no head; semi sweet malty aroma; Flava is fresh grain malt with notes of some hops and citrus(orange?) very robust full flavor; feels light crisp decent fizz; finishes dry and malty slightly roasty grain and a tart hint of lemon ryanscourt (1567) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 24, 2014
