The East Coast Lager is an easy drinking “golden” lager with a wonderful balance of crisp malt flavors and flowery hop finish. Built specifically with very low bitter aftertaste, the aroma is as clean as the taste. A difficult beer to brew because of the gentleness… this beer is magnificent!

Brewed by my friends babysitters parents. Kinda a 6th degrees of Kevin Bacon thing so I wanted to rate it higher. Thin, starts more than OK yet doesn’t fully deliver anything particular worth noting. Better than the Ameican standards and cool to support anyone local.

12 oz. bottle in a shaker. Thin golden pour with small head. Grassy, citrus aroma. Spicy hop flavor, with a mildly sweet finish. More enjoyable than your standard macro, but not by much.

Unfortunately this was a low point of the Stoudt’s Microbrew Fest for me. I found this to be a sour lager with really no discernable flavors other than a boring wimpy malt and sour aftertaste. It is not an appalling beer just not exciting either. The mouthfeel is nice and smooth but with out any taste what good is mouthfeel. I’ll give this beer another shot but I poured out my last swig to replace it with something that had more substance. Hope this is helpful. Cheers!

This is an easy to drink, well balanced, clean and smooth lager. More malty than bitter, the crisp carbonation keeps everything enjoyable. Perfect for a few on a warm summer’s day. Gentlemen, start your (lawnmower) engines!

drank last day of August out east on LI, 12 fl oz brown bottle in a beer koozie, slight sample of aroma, definitely deserves to be poured into a pint glass if available, lingers on your palette, solid lager ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours light yellow, some hops on the nose. No real lacing to speak of. Taste is mildly hoppy, smooth, light, easy to drink. Some malt. Not too much presence, but enjoyable. Adequate carbonation.

small white head on a golden yellow beer. LIght grain aroma, some malt flavor met by bitterness, but neither are very strong. Light body, finishes on the sweet end

After touring the brewery, I had to try this beer. Real nice. Easy to drink lager. Was a big hit at my Superbowl party. I got a 1/6 keg of it and enjoying every glass.

Pours a light gold with virtually no head. Aroma is light but has hints of bready malt and citrus hops. The taste is grassy hops with a balanced bitterness and a touch of biscuit. Very light bodied but doesn’t taste watered down and is easy to drink. The carbonation brings out the hops nicely. At only 4% you could drink this all day...literally.

A little bland but thats what I expect from a lager. Im not a big fan of Lagers but I liked this.
