Bottle at James’s. Pours hazy amber, dry and sweet, dry toffee, quite bitter. bubbleflubber (2227) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - MAY 18, 2014
Pours a cloudy orange into the glass, with a sudsy ring of lacing that travels down the glass. The nose is of caramel, leaves and herbs. Flavors have caramel, light citrus, pale malts and finish with a lightly sweet/lightly herbal bitter. The body is medium and the palate is semi-satiated with the complexities of flavors. The quaff is easy enough, and active with carbonation. Not a bad example of the "original" British IPA. Good job! keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2014

Appearance: Mildly hazy orange hued with golden edges. The head is dense and light tan, short with decent retention. It settles into a dense coating.
Aroma: Slightly orange, slightly malty, and a slight tart orange tinge to it. The aroma isn’t bad, but boy is it bland.
Taste: Mildly bitter with a floral edge to it, the malt base is mild without much flavor. Tastes like a poor homebrew.
Palate: Full-bodied and mildly carbonated.
Overall: They should stop brewing this. It’s just not very good. I wouldn’t even recommend this as an entry level IPA when there are so many better pale ales around.
Bottle from Weis lewisburg. Pours orange with very little head. Doesn’t leave much lacing. Has a little but of pine on the nose. A little bigger pine note on the tongue but still pretty subdued. Finishes clean. Eh!

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear dark gold color with a thick slightly off-white head that hangs around for a while. Aroma is mostly pine hops with some caramel malt in the background. Taste is the same with a slight hop bitterness in the finish. Not bad. Costellonicho (1) - New Jersey, USA - APR 12, 2014 does not count
Ok first review. ( if I could comment and not rate I would ) but this is a really unique beer in my eyes. No bs floral aromas, just hops and more hops. The aftertaste alone is enjoyable. This is a first at bat beer. Get one or four before you drink the cheap stuff.

Bottle @All My Vinyl Tasting, Edinburgh. Pours golden with an ever so s;light haze. Grapefruit/citrus fruits on the nose. Bitter and dry on the palate, all bitter, nothing else, one toned, ok if you like that sort of thing and i dont mind it but this just needs something to bring it out of its shell. allmyvinyl (10613) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 1, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours hazy gold, thin white head. Aromas are all grapefruit. Taste is all bitterness. One-dimensional and a thin finish. OK. ryanscourt (1473) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 28, 2014
Not really enjoying this too much. Funky smell, funky taste. Weird flavor profile. Prefer the lagers in the cricket hill profile.
