12oz bottle. Dark pour. Nice Porter color. Aroma of chocolate malts, dark burnt grains, coffee beans, some dark fruit, and wooded hops. Tastes of burnt grains, roasted malts, burnt sugars, molasses, coffee bitterness, and a reminiscent of soy sauce. Wow, what a F.n Porter! An amazing session beer, again like the Lager. Nice.

22 oz. bomber. A nice porter than is cery drinkable. Not over bearing at all. True to the breweries motto "light in style". One of the better porters I have in a long time.

markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 28, 2010
Thanks to IBrew2or3 for the share. Pours brown with a light dark (figure it out) tan head. Nose is dark chocolate, earth, and dry cocoa. Flavor is similar with lingering earthy cocoa. Body is light with coffee and cocoa throughout. Nice traditional porter.

jeremytoni (3079) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - APR 21, 2010
From a bottle poured a brown color with a fair amount of head. Toasted malty flavor with a lasting finish.

tgncc (3135) - Bellmore, New York, USA - MAR 6, 2010
Nice aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, leather. The appearance is deep brown, reddish hue, partly translucent, light tan head. The flavor is roasted cofee, creamy milk chocolate. The finish is roasty, very light hops. Slick mouthfeel, medium to medium/full body. Nicely done.

lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2010
Bottle thanks to jcwattsrugger. Pours a brown-red with a quick light cola colored head. Nicely roasty character, very distinct older style porter in the traditional British style. Too many porters seem indistinguishable from stouts. The aroma suggests some dark fruit and grass, along with roast, chocolate, coffee. Taste is coffee, cocoa, chocolate, smooth, rich, light roast astringency, feels a bit light on the tongue at first but finishes suitably creamy.

anders37 (26726) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 20, 2010
Bottle. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hints of coffee. Roasted malty chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish with some hitns of coffee in the aftertaste.
