12 oz. bottle. Pours black and opaque. Some roasted malts in the nose. Lots of dark chocolate. Nice aroma lends way to mediocre flavor. Though good and roasty upfront, it finishes with unpleasant hints of soy sauce. redlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JAN 4, 2010

Bottle courtesy of jcwattsrugger, thank you! Deep brown going toward black, decent head. Flavor is straightforward balance of chocolate and coffee accented malts. Aroma matches. Simple, but nice. SrSilliGose (3331) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - NOV 19, 2009
Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a fluffy tan head and some nice lace. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, coconut, molasses, roasted malts, and toast. Flavor is Cocoa beans, vanilla, roasted coffee and cream. This is great. Tons of flavor for how low the abv is. A phenomenal session beer.

Bottle - Very dark brown with a tan head. Malty and chocolatey aroma with a faint hint of coffee and leather. Chocolatey taste with roasted malt, cocoa and coffee. Nice and smooth and easy to drink, but it feels a bit watery in places. Having said that, it’s really enjoyable. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2009
