StevieT (2039) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 21, 2014
From a bottle. Pours a deep clear amber, tiny lasting head, rich hop and malt flavours.

I don’t know how they do it, but this tastes more like adjuncts than anything else. Plus that sickening sweetness - don’t like it at all. Aroma’s a bit funky. taste is sweet corn/grain- no malt or hop. Nothing out right bad is about the only "good" thing I can say.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 17, 2014
bottle, picked up in newcastle. golden, steady, low bitterness, frothy. run-of-the-mill australian lager

KeefOz (1915) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - OCT 2, 2013
Poured a clear amber colour with a three-finger white foamy head that diminished fairly quickly and left a bit of sudsy lacing. High carbonation as seen by lots of small to medium bubbles forming trails. Aroma of sweet citrus malt and musty grain. Taste of sweet malt and normal grain flavours with no bitterness. Light body. Crisp, light, dry with a sweet finish. Much like a macro-brewed lager. Average.

gnoff (10985) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 26, 2013
Bottled 33 cl from Dan Murphy’s Geelong, on August 2, 2013.
Clear golden color, white head. Sweet, fruity, malty scent. Malty, sweet taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Dry aftertaste.

Bif (2344) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Pours a golden color with a thick head that fades slowly to bits of lacing. Mild aroma of some citrus malt sweetness and grain. Fairly bland taste of malt sweetness and grain,. Mild bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and smooth, not a lot here. Non-offensive Pale Lager on and ocean of lager beers.

i feel like this is a hard beer to rate - i signed up to this site to give it a go. if you’re sitting around being discerning and taking in all the flavours of a beer, you’re likely to be a bit underwhelmed with this one. it’s not meant for that. to me, it’s basically the boutique version of an australian bitter. except with a bit less of the harsh bitter, and just a hint of hop/wheat. drink it very cold. also i don’t think it wants to be poured in to a glass - it tasted a bit flat and got warm too quick when i did that.

Rangi (671) - NEW ZEALAND - NOV 20, 2012
Does what it sets out to do as described on the bottle. Dry and refreshing no more.

Jade (435) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 31, 2012
Clear golden, moderate carbonation thick white head. Hard to get much from the aroma due to the head. Wheaty, floral touches. Reasonably pleasant flavour, a little watery but certainly drinkable.

alang51 (98) - Essendon West, AUSTRALIA - FEB 8, 2012
Nice aroma but carbonation a bit high. Floral after taste. Reasonable malt finish. From a beer boys pack.
