Bottle. Pours a lightly cloudy yellow almost green color with no head. A sweet oaky apple cider nose. The flavor is super sweet very tannic apples, sugary at times, a bit of vanilla. Odd. Not very natural tasting. Hmmm. I love me some honey crisp. but this is way too sweet. matthewjk (1138) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 25, 2014
Look, apple cider is not in my wheel house, but tonight I had a craving. Crispin’s "Honey Crisp" could almost be a chardonnay; it’s replete with apple, pear, and honey notes--and yes, it does finish crisp. Nice change up during the hot summer months. 60minuteman (1765) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 20, 2014
Cloudy yellowish-white pour. Appearance of a white wine. Apple juice flavor, yeast character, some honey for sure. Zesty. Over ice, it’s mellowed out and less sweet. It has other wine-like features. Alcoholic for a cider. More zest. And sweet apples. nealblind (2019) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - APR 19, 2014
Handsome cloudy yellow pour some floaters. Aroma of sweet honeycrisp. Tastes of sweet tarts some fresh apple. Light carb. Good sessionable cider that tastes like real apple. wildbeercat (359) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - APR 10, 2014
650ml bottle into a shaker glass; served cold.
Aroma: Fantastic amounts of pears and apples. Exceptionally juicy; the smell baptizes the room. Not a lot of honey sweetness comes through, but there is definitely a massive amount of fruity juice.
Appearance: Quite pale, straw, yellow-green pastel colored, hazy body. No head or cap at all. No lacing. Low visible amount of carbonation.
Taste: Delicious, juicy apples. No bitterness at all. A teeny bit of sweetness, and a bit of tart flavor towards the back of the palate.
Palate: Ultralight body, but not watery. Incredibly low carbonation. This cider’s finish is of medium length and ends on a succulent apple note
Overall: A nice little find. I thought Angry Orchard was the cider all others would be judged by, but this one is a different approach that gave me some welcome perspective. Light, crisp, refreshing, and able to be minimally sweet and not cloying at all.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2014 Pours cloudy like a hefeweizen. Smells like fresh cut apples. Tastes like apples with a light alcohol taste. There’ a light honey sweetness. Nice mouthfeel. Easily the best hard apple cider I’ve had yet hotstuff (5279) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 21, 2014
Rated on 6-28-2010 (Bottle) This cider has a small head, mostly transparent/slightly hazy body, fizzy, and fast rising carbonation. The aroma is sweet, apples and honey. The taste is very sweet, honey and apple juice. The palate is soft carbonatio and this cider is light-medium bodied. This cider is very easy to drink, apples upfront and a cider I would possibly drink again. XaenDovet (1281) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 8, 2014
Taster from bomber. Thanks john! Unfiltered lemonade look. Aroma of apple jolly rancher, apple skin, honey. Taste is apple sweet, tart. So bloody good. seymour (2121) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - FEB 7, 2014
Part of a side-by-side cider tasting, thanks David! Poured from big brown bottle into a snifter glass. It poured a slightly hazy golden colour. The aromas and flavours of Honey Crisp apples (one of my favourite varieties) really comes through. Just the right amount of sweetness, not too dry. Light body, spritzy carbonation but no metallic bite. Really tasty, well crafted, highly recommended. joebudzjoe (677) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Color and opacity of grapefruit juice. Three layer attack: 1) sweet apple ; 2) effervescent bubbles ; 3) champagne aftertaste. Not too sweet. Complexity of flavor and effervescence weakens after a few minutes, but solid cider.
