Pale honey with a little haze. You get glorious whiskey and honey straight away. Medium-plus sweet. Light-med body, honeyed creamyness and a sweet apple finish. Minimal tartness, low tannin. Very nice. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JAN 25, 2013
From a bottle poured a dark straw color with a fair amount of head, and a lot of floaters. Very complex for a cider, can realy taste the barrel. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Bottled. Poured cloudy straw golden with not much sticking around for head. The aroma picked up sweet bourbon and honey initially, with crisp, meaty apples and a kiss of spicy rye behind.. a little heavy-handed on the sugarage, but still aiight. The flavor found sweet honey and green apple meat at the core, with oak, spicy whiskey, and a bit of green apple skin around.. finished with more sweet honey and whiskey than anything else. Medium-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. in the end it was just too sweet for me, and there were too many competing elements. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 19, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bottle from AV3. Murky yellow pour with minimal head. Very nice aroma of apple, oak, and bourbon. Taste was similar. Moderate to lighter palate. Solid cider. Strykzone (7356) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 17, 2013
Sampled at an rsbls tasting. I got the bottom of the glass. It was so full of sediment and like chocolate milk. Gobs of sediment remains on the glass. This is tart apples with whiskey. His is like bourbon in the apple sauce. Powdery chalky feel. Just so different with the sediment.

The aroma is very very sweet with apples and booze. The appearance is dark hazy gold with no head but some fizz that fades away. The taste is like the aroma with a bit of honey and booze in the finish. The palate is fizzy. Overall I am in love with the concept but the execution was not flawless. Still nice cider. zizzybalubba (1869) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JAN 7, 2013
12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Norfolk, VA. Hazy yellowish-orange pour with a very quick fizzy head. Strong whiskey nose at first that fades somewhat to allow for some of the cider to come through. The strong whiskey aroma is a bit off-putting. Luckily, the taste is much better as the apple flavor is enhanced by the whiskey and oak. The honey does not add anything to the flavor that I can tell but probably helps to soften this one from being too cidery or whiskey-like. Overall, this is a pretty good cider. b3shine (8873) - Indiana, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Bottle to snifter (shared with the wife; she picked this one out). Looks decent; a cloudy gold (due to sediment with no real lacing to speak of. Smells and tastes solid; cider and bourbon. Good on the palate. Enjoyable. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JAN 5, 2013
12-oz. Pours a cloudy pale amber with no head or lace. Big sweet peach, vanilla, apples, and honey on the nose. Sweet but not sharp or dense...it’s approachable. Creamy medium body...soft carb. Apples, peaches, vanilla, and silky sweet dense honey on the mid palate. Shockingly good for what is essentially an extract cider. vyvvy (6470) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Pours very murky peach colored. The aroma shows a lot of bourbon notes, rich apples, vanilla and charred wood. It has a fairly full body for a cider and some sharp carbonation right at the end. The flavor starts off with more of a dryness of apples and seems like more of a sweet apple though since I don’t detect much tartness. Shortly thereafter some of the honey notes show through, but fairly subtle. There is a spicy and caramel swirl at the finish and seems like there is the yeast note of The Saint showing through. The bourbon shows through in the beer, but it is far more integrated that on the nose. Overall this is a solid cider.
