12oz bottle poured into glass. This has to be one of the best ciders I’ve ever tasted, or somewhere in my top 5. There’s definitely a little bit of lingering whiskey barrel flavor alive in this bad boy, along with apple and spice flavor. A real treat! falco242 (398) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Really cloudy pour with a lot of floaters :) aroma is apple and bourbon and is a tart. Nice taste with the sweet apple balancing well with the bourbon, and it finishes very smooth. Also notes of vanilla and oak in there. Nice change of pace cider. blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 27, 2012
bottle, muddy orange color with no head, aroma and flavor similar to a hot toddy, whiskey, rum, butterscotch, lemons, similar finish DiarmaidBHK (4907) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Bottle from Sam’s Quik Stop. Pours a turgid brown with no head. Nose is of bourbon and apples which don’t mix very well. Tastes of maple syrup and apples which is another combination that doesn’t work. Cloying in its linger. Not feeling this one at all. magsinva (1250) - Virginia, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Bottle from Sam’s quik shop - pours dirty cloudy yellow-orange with bits of yeast(?) floating in it. Aroma is the best thing about this one with notes of bourbon, green apples, pineapple, and alcohol. I don’t get any of the rye, it doesn’t seem to be adding anything. The taste is lightly sweet, but mostly lacking of anything until it warms a bit. Palate is very watery with a touch of alcohol in the finish. Overall, I was disappointed by this one. I’m not getting the point of blending 4 ciders if the result is thin apple water, that granted, smells fantastic.

Hazy dull golden pour with very little head. Nose of oak, crisp apples, whiskey - honey sweetness, apples, and a woody bourbon finish. Unique. zathrus13 (1776) - Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Pours slightly cloudy yellow/gold. Aroma is apples, bourbon, and sugar. Flavor is apples, honey, bourbon, and a little alcohol. Very interesting and unique. badgerben (5181) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Cloudy yellow color. Aroma of whisky, honey and light vanilla. Tart apple flavor with some vanilla. Lightly sweet. bhensonb (15234) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with a few bubbles. Aroma is fairly bourbon. Maybe also rye. Definitely also apple. Flavor is rather cider sweet - I think it’s more rye than bourbon/van - Mildly woody. Think the honey comes through on the lips. Interesting stuff. Not getting banana ester, so don’t know where the trappist yeast went. nsquishee (641) - Richfield, Minnesota, USA - DEC 17, 2012
Apple cider and bourbon barrel aroma- very nice. Cloudy light honey color. Tastes sweet and tart with a dry, tannic finish. Barrel is a very prominent flavor amidst Granny Smith and sweet apple flavors that finish with a warm spice note.
