bottle at the house 5/31/10
clear pale yellow with a small quickly disappearing white head.
it smells like fake candy apples and mustiness. the flavor is full of seemingly artificial apple mixed with musty apples…. not really sweet though. crisp carbonation makes the mouth feel prickly. meh…. 5/3/5/3/10/2.6

(12oz bottle, courtesy of thirdeye11) Pours a transparent pale yellow body with a spare white head. Aroma of apple and light band-aid. Flavor of apple and some earthiness with a dry finish. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 26, 2010
(12oz bottle) very pale yellow with light bubbles and very little lacing. Nose of alcohol, old apple, very sugary. Taste is sweet left-out-to-rot overnight apples, flintstones vitamins, sugary. Well carbonated finish that’s slightly dry. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 31, 2010
Pale yellow, not much head(must be married)...Aroma is dry and apples. A bit of honey. Flavor is bubbly and tart apples. dry and artificial. Not the best by any stretch. bhensonb (15967) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 15, 2010
Bottle at West Coast Brew Fest 2010. Pours pale gold with a frothy bubble head. A fresh apple cider aroma. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is fresh apple with skin bitter quickly following. Finishe slightly less bitter than it began. Definitely balanced sweet and bitter. Nice.

banana, bubblegum, ginger, butterscotch, pale, clear, minimal head, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, salty, lightly sour, light body, thin feel, soft carbonation, obguthr (6827) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - APR 23, 2010
Mild swiss cheese funk and ripe apple aroma, not strong. Clear light golden, effervescent. Somewhat dry flavor of apples. Probably a good choice for making various cider cocktails. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - APR 22, 2010
Very dry as she says. Pale in color, mild aromatics, medium body, superb carbonation, good acidity to fruit ratio. The finish is almost nonexistent. Not bad. dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 13, 2010
I’m not going to go too in depth considering this is a cider, with the exception of saying that there are too many damn haters out there! It’s definately not my first beverage choice but I recognize when one is well done. This is hands down one of the best cider producers in the market. Each of the entry levels are good in their own right. My oversimplified breakdown of these are light = apple flesh, hard = apple skin, brut = apple core with some floral notes. They are all well balanced and "dry", with the brut being the driest. The ice thing kinda scared me, but everyone needs a gimmick right? Cubed, not crushed, unless that’s your kinda thing. blutt59 (6599) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 3, 2010
bottle, golden color with no foam, aroma is dry apple skin, flavors of red apple skin, very astringent and dry finish
