Naturally fermented with classic white wine yeast using unpasteurized fresh pressed apple-juice. Smoothed with pure apple-juice, with no added sugars, sorbate or benzoate preservatives. Fresh & zesty, lively & fruity with crisp apple aromas and a clean, off-dry, long natural finish. Pairs perfectly with food, especially spicy dishes, white meats, seafood and salads.

3L box, (like a wine...) at first I thought this was a 4pk, clerk even said it was. [email protected] Clear yellow, zero fizz. Aroma of sweet applesauce. Tastes of juice. Finishes with essence of Chard Wine. Worth the money. (3593)

A fruity beer with notes of apple, pear, honey, and grapes. Goes down smooth and is medium bodied.

(box) Clear white pour with no head or carbonation. Dry wine and apple aroma. Dry and slightly flavorless taste. Good because it was dry but needed a little something more.

Box o booze from Tri-Boro Bev. Pint glass. Pino grigio. Silent.
Smells like muscato. Perry, flowery honey, apple skin/stems, white wine.
Soft, mild, otherwise unspecific boxed apple juice flavor. Seedy/Stemmy bitterness. Light powdered sugar sweetness. Besides a short lived sputter of acidity, it honestly tastes diluted. Thin, tacky.
Reminds me of communion wine.

I was really interested to see this in a box--in the refrigerator at friends when we went for card night. Very clear apple across the aroma and flavor, though a little too "juicey" at times, and also some sweetness that I didnt expect--I dont see this as dry, but I could be wrong about that, the sweet/dry dichotomy one that my palate has long had "off". The wine yeast lends itself a little to the aroma, where a few floral and white wine notes can be found, but it gets overwhelmed by the apples. Very light color. Fine, and a nice alternative to wine in a box. Gravity pour from a box.

wine box thingy. Pale straw. Its uncarbonated, so obviously no head. Its odd how much I miss the carbonation, but even if it had carbonation, I dont think Id be a big fan. Theres just not enough apple flavor, or really any flavor for that matter. Dull, lightly tart and dry. I really liked the idea of this, but its not very well executed.

Box sample. Pours a clear yellow color with a few small bubbles. The aroma and flavor have sweet white grapes, honey, hints of apple and a dry character. Finish is soft. Not for me.

Box sample. Poured clear pale color with a minimal head that diminished slowly with little lacing. Medium floral apple aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium tart apple flavor with a medium tart finish of short to moderate duration. Soft drinkable beverage.

Box to taster at Dutchs. Looks like apple juice; a still, transparent gold. Smells like apple juice too. Tastes like it smells, but fermented. Average on the palate. I like my ciders carbonated.

Pour from a box. Clear golden color. No head or lace. No carbonation. Medium body. Moderate sweet taste, very light tart. Flavor is exactly like apple juice, albeit decent apple juice. On the plus side, I cant tell at all that this apple juice is alcoholic, there isnt any hint of it, unless Im gulping down multiple sips at a time (which I could never do with the typical carbonated cider). No acidic taste or body that I sometimes get from ciders, either... So you could say this might pass as refreshing, even to a non-cider-head. Interesting, and in a couple ways, impressive.

3 liter box o cider...

Pours like a glass of apple juice, golden, perfectly clear, perfectly still.

The aroma is very pleasant, not overly sweet, not especially apple-y... The cider has a bouquet wonderfully reminiscent of some of the more crisp and refreshing old world white wines (i.e. Pinot Gris, Vinho Verde, etc) with a nice fruitiness, strawberry, apple skin, white grape with very subtle earthy notes of sawdust wildflowers.

The flavor is maybe less complex than the aroma, it is described above as off-dry... I can see where they are coming from... its considerably drier than may Crispin products, but its fairly sweet up front. The finish is dry and has a nice lingering but mild bitter fruit rind character that is very pleasant. Floral and light spicy flavors are nice, the apple is again a central player but is about as prominent as the crisp white wine character.

The palate is where this one looses me, now I know very well that this is supposed to be flat, but the trouble is that its terribly thin in body, which I assume most un-carbonated Cider would be... which is why its more lovely with the bubbles in it. But its very easy to drink on the other hand...
