Pours hazy yellow with no head. The aroma has semi-sweet cider notes, light merlot hints, dark berries and some tannin traits. Medium smooth body that is lush for a cider with smooth gentle carbonation The flavor starts with what tastes like a juicy red apple with light tartness, cherries, raspberries and contains none of the tannin or harsh traits of the aroma. The finish is peppery, dry and on the fruity side. Really nice. BelgianBeerGal (4121) - Panama City, Florida, USA - APR 1, 2011
First rating again. Draft at the KC FS. Slightly murky, straw color with no head and fairly still. Maybe the least aroma and flavor of the group for me. Just kinda like a normal cider. Weird too that the merlot barrels did not really add any color which leads me to think maybe they got shorted time in the barrel? Still refreshing though.
