Pours hazy yellow with no head. The aroma is more cider-like than the other two musketeers I had. It is smooth and semi-sweet with a hint of berries and spice. It is nice, but doesn’t come across as too complex. The body is light and crisp with mild prickly carbonation and at the end leaves a velvety feeling. The flavor starts with peppery spice aspects and some dry apple that seems like a blend of sweet and tart apples. The finish has more spice with light ginger. I don’t detect a lot of the wine barrel with this one, but it is nice. BelgianBeerGal (4139) - Panama City, Florida, USA - APR 1, 2011
Seriously? First rating? Draft at Kansas City FS. Slightly murky gold color with active carbonation but no head. Aroma is ginger and peaches but pretty light. Flavor honestly reminded me of ginger ale with just the slightest hint of pinot. Fine.
