Cider with a little devil in it, but the dog doesnt bite. The sound of the rain and the distant midnight train brings Georgia to mind. An elegant, spicy blend of Colfax Classic apple-wine superbly aged inBourbon American whiskey barrels. The final blend is finished with Georgia peach-juice, a hint of mint and a kiss of Tupelo honey aged in Bourbon barrels. Full whiskey notes right up front, layered, very smooth, toasted oak tannins and vanilla.Velvety peach and a hint of mint julep. Blended straight from whiskey barrels.Give a solid bottoms-up tilt and swirlto disperse sediment evenly to best enjoy whiskey aromas and unique bouquet. Best enjoyed at cellar temperature, 50/55F.With or without 1 or 2 ice cubes. Age-worthy.

A light bourbon aroma. Light carbonation and a big sugary sweetness on the tongue. Really big applesauce feel and taste. With a decent dash of cinnamon. Really changes as it warms. Better than most ciders Ive had.

Bottle tasting at Red White & Bleu. Stem glass. Hazy yellow with barest white edge of head. Booze and apples, not too sweet, decent.

Bourbon, apple, and oak aroma in nearly equal measure and good intensity. Cloudy golden, very chunky, some legs. Apple is dominant, but secondary bourbon and oak are fairly evident. Medium body, easy carbonation. Surprisingly crisp and not at all boozy despite being full of bourbon flavor. I wasnt expecting much as this bottle had a bit of age, but it held up well. I quite enjoyed it.

bourbon, vanilla, vague spiciness that sharpens itself to definite mint after a few sniffs, some alcohol, no solvent. I dont expect cider to be "appley" but this does nothing to suggest cider either. light gold, good clarity, light carb fed by occasional lines of bubbles. sweetness up front, sugary with some honey. vanilla; likely the barrel. faint fruitiness. light molasses, bourbon notes everywhere, along with everpresent but not overwhelming mint. moderate warming alcohol becomes slighty obtrusive as I drink. fairly low acidity, no tannin to speak of despite the obvious barrel. nice cocktail. I enjoyed it. but wheres the cider?

12 ounce bottle, not sure how old this bottle is but I know Ive had it a little while. Served in a Sam Adams Boston Lager glass, the cider pours a hazy gold color with about a half inch white head that fizzled away quickly. Aroma is nice and sweet, the cider smells like honey, apples, wood, vanilla, and bourbon. Taste is similar to the aroma, but theres the addition of some peaches and mint. Mouthfeel/body is medium, its coating and has low/moderate carbonation. I thought this was good, but then I like bourbon, honey and peaches so Im a bit biased. Its less appley than most ciders Ive had, really does lean more towards the honey/bourbon sweetness. Id love to try this again. $3.99 a single bottle.

Lots of bourbon in this guy, in the nose and the taste. Which isnt my favorite, which Ill be honest about. I definitely get the mint and apple but the peach is tough to find. If youre a bourbon person, go for it.
