True to its name, Cristal tastes at first almost like spring water; then comes a clean bit of hop bitterness; and a crisp, finish. It is a beautifully refreshing beer, lightly cleansing on the palate, with the appetising dryness that define the Pilsener style. Cristal pours with a very creamy head, leaving excellent lacing. Serve it lightly chilled as though it were a good Chardonnay.

Tap at several bars. For a pils, it's pretty hard to pour it perfect in a glass. Nice foam but doesn't stick around for more then 3 minutes or so. Still, a pils just for thrist. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

#645 Ein recht herbes Pils mit leichter Alunote. Der Hopfen ist leider grobschlchtig und nicht sehr aromatisch. Nichtsdestotrotz kann man es gut trinken. Test vom 2.12.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,10,9,9,9 - 9,15

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear yellow, lightly effervescent, with a weak white foam. Nose holds a bit of sugary cereal malts. Medium sweet flavor with cereal malts, some metallic zip, a bit of hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with some more metallic bite, more cereal, light dough, very mild paper and faint white sugar. Its a very basic pale lager. Not overly sweet, which is a plus.

HOME 20130217 (25 cl bottle): A clear yellow beer with a nice white foam. Some aroma of malt (wheat-like) en some hops. The same in the taste with a slightly bitterness in the aftertaste. It is a standard pilsener. Good, but not extreem.

Light yellow, thin white head; floral malty sweetness on the nose; a better than average pale lager; malty, lightly fruity, dryish, a slight bitterness.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2013 can @ groezrock 2011 festival ( still traumatized, though ) so here it is, the worst brew known to man. they told me its even worse than meas pils, wich i didnt believe, wich than again made me curious. this was baught for my group of staff, instead of jupiler pils because this was cheaper. logical, i think this WAS jupiler but had been drunk before. firts sip went ok. second one was bad, third one made me throw it away and never ever take this one again. i heard its less worse from draft, and even a not bad lager than. but im not gonna check it out ! had this on draft now , very much times . its actualy my favourite lager on draft ( thats is available easely ) . who would have thought ? certainly not me .. i feel like rating this 3,7 now, its a very good lager on draft , but in can it was SO bad ... so rating this 3 for now ... DONT DRINK THIS FROM THE CAN
