COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
True to its name, Cristal tastes at first almost like spring water; then comes a clean bit of hop bitterness; and a crisp, finish. It is a beautifully refreshing beer, lightly cleansing on the palate, with the appetising dryness that define the Pilsener style. Cristal pours with a very creamy head, leaving excellent lacing. Serve it lightly chilled as though it were a good Chardonnay.

Muffig-herber Antrunk, dominiert von tiefer Wssrigkeit. Etwas hopfig, grasig, zum Ende hin herb. Unendlich langweilig! Test vom 22.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 5,4,6,4,5,4 - 4,45

Draught. Golden beer, small head. Malty aroma, malty flavor. Rather boring.

[email protected]: average euro pale lager, watery, lots carbonation, grassy, wheat, watery grains, cheap corn, slightly crisp, decent enough, gets worse second glass

Another pale lager like there are so many. Few stand out; many, like this one, disappear in the masses.

250 ml bottle in Germany. Pale golden yellow, with a soft medium lacy head. Wheaty, cheep corn like aroma. Some fiz and a moderate dry Palate. Really no better then your average macro larger and this is proof that not all beers from Belguim are good .

Trouve Vanuxeem - Ploegstaert.

Bottle, bought @ Beermerchants.com.
Very pale golden with a fine, staying, creamy, white head. Good lacings. Aroma is sweet, light grassy, some maize, fairly mild. Small bubbles, prickly carbonation, light watery palate. Flavour starts heavily metallic, but settles with some sweetness and a fair grassy touch. Not the worst pale lager Ive come across. Light citric in the far finish.

6th March 2010. Pale gold beer that is very slightly hazy. A thin white head. Light carawayish malt. Crisp, fresh, light. A decent lager! Thanks to Harrisoni for introducing me to something that goes down easy at the end of along days drinking or tasting. Cheers Ian!

One of the "house" pils beers on tap they have in Belgium. All quite similiar too; pale gold, soft malt flavour, dry bready finish with a bit of aromatic hop character.
