Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontaines, Brussels. Clear yellow with big frothy white head. Fruity aroma, lager-ish with notes of malt, citrusy hops, some ash and peach. Sweetish and bitterish flavor with some fruitiness, citrusy hops, malt and lemon, lager-ish. Light to medium-bodied.

Draft at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy pale yellow with a huge white head. Aroma of hops, a bit piney and earthy. Sweetish, grainy, fruity, green hops, mild bitterness. Medium-bodied, smooth, easy drinking.

Cask. Pours rather clear blonde , small but very stable white head, consisting of very small bubbles, which is always a good thing. Very high amount of lacing. Smell is malty, crispy, mild corn features, very mild honey notes. No noticable hops or yeast. Taste is big on aroma (didnt see that comming ) with fruityness in the likes of mandarin, peach, mildly grassy. not much bitterness is to be perceived. Maltyness is far less than what the scent would give. Some white bread trough the malts, but in a very distant level. No yeasty taste, no noticable alcohol, no errors. I would prefer it being carbonated, but for what the beer is trying to do, it does it pretty well.

On tap @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas during Italian Beer Week-end Colonna Edition, Brussels BE. Color: clear golden blond beer with small carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: cereal and malt domination. Crisp. Good malt taste. Small hoppy finish. Taste: light body with malt and caramel malt domination. Cereals, crisp. Very nice beer, high attenuation, quiet easy drinkable. Aftertaste: fresh and cereal taste with caramel notes.

(Thx! for sharing!) Sampled draft @ Italian BEER Week-End #5. Pale hazy citrus, lacing white head. Nose makes me a think a bit more of a pale lager than a kolsch, it is quite better than the average pale lager, there is quite a bit of hop, vegetable notes are a bit covered by some sweetness. Taste is luckily much better, vegetable note is barely there, low grain, hay, it is quite hoppy, European hops, flowers, light grass, sweet flowers, lightly doughy,… Thicker lager body, lingering grass finish. Drinks quite well, hops are enjoyable, smell is not optimal but it is pretty fun to drink. Good hops, dry, malty. Debatable how on style this is but it is quite enjoyable. Neat.

Sample @ GBBF 2014. Gold pour with small white head. Nose is fairly bready and initially unengaging. Flavor has some more personality. Gentle citrus, biscuit. Soft mineral. A touch of tropical fruit character. Light body, moderate carbonation. Not flashy, but well made. Solid.
