Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2015
Cask at The Bishop Langely, Durham, £3.10/pint.
Mid-amber pour with a thin, smooth, white head. The nose is muted and has sweet peach and citrus tones. The flavour is crisp and clean with melon, orange and tutti frutti character. On the whole it’s pretty mild with low bitterness but not a huge amount of sweetness either, although it does get a little sugary as the pint goes on. Easy to drink and pleasant but not as inspiring or attention grabbing as I had hoped. Bullit (4686) - Buffalo, New York, USA - AUG 16, 2015
