Yorker (2006) - Herning, DENMARK - JUL 20, 2017
50 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear golden with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are caramel, exotic fruit, herbs, and pine - with a bitter finish.

330ml bottle: BB 25th Feb 2018. Poured into a Leffe badged chalice at home on 14th July 2017, my fifth beer in a random tasting session with myself. Light amber/golden body, swiftly fading white head. Tropical fruit esters dominate the nose, orange and mango being the main players. Taste has a light malty front, before the citrusy tropical fruits take over and rule the flavour. The beer grew on me, thought it was going to be another boring citrusy golden ale, this is much more than that.

Bottle from Cromarty brewery. Pours clear yellow-gold with small white head that dissipates quickly. High carbonation. Aroma is strongly citrus hop pellets plus a bit of funky pine resin. Flavour is dominated by the hop character with mild caramel notes. Taste is quite bitter with reasonable sweetness to balance. Solid lingering residual bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy with liveliness provided by the high carbonation. Overall a pretty interesting APA with plenty of unique character.

From 33cl bottle. Pours rather hazy orange gold with white foam, fine. Aroma is citrus but also white pulp fruit like apricot and peach, maybe some tropical fruit feeling as well. Body is average with intense carbonation. Taste is sweet at first, like fruits, but with good bitterness immediately after. Finish is average.

Flaska från Oddbins Aberdeen City. Aningen disig orange med ett bubbligt vitt skum. Dofter och smaker av apelsin, persika, grapefrukt och blomster. Fruktig och besk avslutning. Väldigt fräsch.

1/29/17. Thanks, cgarvieuk! Golden orange pour with a small khaki head. Fruity aroma, citrus, orange peel, grassy. Good flavor, grassy, citrus, malty. Not bad.

Bottle at home. Pours a pale yellow colour. Little tart citrus. Moderate hoppiness. Clean finish. Nice and drinkable.

Koelschtrinker (20398) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JAN 22, 2017
Heller, trocken bitterer Antrunk. Angenehm würzig ohne große Intensität, steigend bitter, grasig, trocken. 10/10/10/10//10

Bottle. Had this 3 years ago on tap. Thought it was "quite refreshing...sharp". This is pretty boring. For a 5.7%, it tastes feeble. No energy. Not terrible, just lacking something. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
