Bottle at ACBF. The Croocked Moon guys told me this one was with Riwaka hops. Hazy amber beer, big creamy off white head. A small creamy malt base supports nice earthy hops. Some sweeter hop then comes through with subtle peach and mango. Softish semi dry finish. Pretty decent pale ale.
On tap. Lightly hazy amber golden with a small off-white head. Fat Nelson Sauvin in the nose. Medium body, light caramel accents, a little fruit and very distinct and fat, juicy Nelson Sauvin notes that also leave a pretty solid hop finish. 080110 Leighton (22027) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2011
