Svesse (8831) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 1, 2013
(Draught at Fermentoren, Copenhagen, 25 Jan 2013) Dark reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine needles and a touch of resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with caramel, grapefruit, resin, pine needles, slightly toasty malt and a generous bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Lovely beer with an impressive hop profile.

kappldav123 (6135) - GERMANY - SEP 22, 2012
On tap at CBC 2012. Looks good in the glass, copper coloured, nice head. Hoppy-fresh aroma. Starts intense hoppy and dry, quite bitter. More and more fruity with hints of grapefruit. Interesting, but a bit too dry.

nimbleprop (8826) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - AUG 25, 2012
16oz pour at Fermentoren pours a copper amber with orange edges and some rocky, slightly off white head. Nose is just like an American pale, malty, biscuit, bread, yeasty, pine, lemon, grapefruit, lightly floral. Flavor is very pungent, bitter, orange peel, grapefruit pulp, some kumquat, light honey, light malt. Full bodied, bracing bitter finish. Very true to the style.

Hazy - murky medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, fruity, herbal, moderate yeasty, wood, leather. Initial flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, unclear, unbalanced and a bit messy, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120511]
